Royal Enfield has finally launched the Hunter 350 in the Philippines! It's their first bike with 17" alloy wheels and tubeless tires and is the lightest of Royal Enfield's current lineup. It's agile and easy riding and has an accessible seat height of 790mm.
First impression: It's a great city bike at a great price, a great choice for those who want the Royal Enfield character and a premium bike in this class minus the weight of the 650s or even the Scram 411.

Lowering the highway cc limit would do wonders for the industry. 350 or even 300cc would be enough. Such a beautiful bike!

Indeed! Can't wait for that. You'd have a lot of fun commuting on this! So easy to flick around and the instant torque makes it easy to squirt through traffic. And it would make an awesome scrambler.

Yung Classic 350 ko nakakapasok ng Cavitex no issues, no huli since I got it Oct 2022, kasi malaki tingnan. Im not sure dito. 🤔

@@tombombadilofficial A friend of a friend naman, ipinaedit rehistro ng Classic niya to 400cc. May nakasabay akong magpagawa sa Orion na R3 sabi niya sa tuwing traffic sumasampa siya ng Skyway. And other bikes like Duke 390, Dominar are 400cc only on paper pero technically below talaga. So all those added up why not amend the 400cc rule right? Kahit 300cc na lang sana. Para Meteor 350 na lang din bilhin ko hehehehe

Definitely. Even most modern 250ccs can handle legal expressway speeds without any issue. We have a lot of capable bikes between the 250-350cc range that get overlooked simply because of this Luzon-specific problem.

Sana yung next na iteration nila ng Hima at Scram nila maging kasing smooth na rin ng J-Platform nila. Ang smooth talaga ng mga 350s. Ramdm na ramdam mo difference.

If only SLEX/NLEX has a lower cc limit. I'd get this in a heartbeat.

Agree! That limit should really be lowered to around 300cc. No reason these bikes can't handle the highway.

Sana ibaba. EXPRESS way speed is slow anyways. 350 can keep up with the traffic in nlex. Ma traffic nga sa hapon..

I own rebel blue and it's top speed is not 114 kmph it goes around 130 to 135 kmph.. Which is good.

Bought it as my first bike. I didnt know hunter accessories are not yet available here (including crash guard) i am really afraid to drop it. Does anyone know a way to install a third party crash guard maybe?

Hunter hands down for the city, but the Scram 411 is a lot more versatile. But Hunter is also much cheaper so if there weren't a 400cc rule for highways here it would be a tougher decision between the two.

Magaan talaga bro! Particularly if sanay ka sa usual Enfield. Not just the weight kasi, which isn’t super low, but because of the handling.

There is a rumor of a 450cc RE engine in the works. I heard of Hunter 450, but that is speculation

Oh so that's why they build these Indian RE 350s with such low HP or kW....when Yamaha Japan gets 40hp out of a 330cc and Kawasaki even more. The highway limitation must reduce insurance and ease relatives concerns that a young rider will stay off the intercity motorways. Nice town and student bike.

Looks much like a CB250 from 15 years ago. Performance stats about the same. 45kg heavier. Better brakes. If it were 50kg lighter or 10hp better for the dead weight then it would be a great replacement for the Honda 234s that are aging. You gave it away by talking about how incredibly light it is. When publicists put that much lipstick on a stat, we know it is misleading. REs are just awfully heavy for their mild power trains.
