Most of us grew up on drurys, primos, realtree, mossy oak & they paved the way & it was great. But what’s going on today with THP, Dave Owen’s, Shane Simpson, Do it yourself hunter, most of us can relate to those guys much more. It’s more relatable, it’s public, not private baited farms. The grind is just fun. Traveling , sleeping in truck, hunting huge areas of public. You’re not stuck in just a few areas. Or you’re not paying to hunt these ranches & farms that are groomed for the perfect kill on camera. Not saying those guys that paved the way aren’t great hunters, most of us blue collar guys can just relate more to these guys. Glad to see yall have Zach on. These guys have something great going!!!

Yes, most of us all can relate to blue collar hard working guys like him , that are busting it on public land, not hunting in $5k blinds In the middle of green fields with 10 120’s, 5 140’s, & 2-3 160-170’s walking around. Nothing against that, they’ve worked hard to attain those things, but it just doesn’t interest me to watch that. It did, when it was the only thing we had to watch. But thank God these guys have a platform (KZfaq) now to get out there & let us folks all watch & be entertained. Although I did hear Terry one time shun & talk down about KZfaqrs, but it was just a lil jealousy b/c they have blown up & his platform is in the backseat now. Never heard Mark talk down about anyone. Anyway, I respect them , ppl like Mark & Will Primo paved the way for these guys & we all enjoyed watching it. That’s my 3 cents.

Drury has laid the ground work for hunting videos and THP bring more people to the hunting community. All of which is great for the sport. Awesome podcast

Great episode. Love THP. They really try to inspire people to get out there and give hunting a shot. They include a lot of education in their videos too.

THP is successful because they hunt like everyone is able to. They travel and hunt the same places we all can and teach us how to do it affordably.

mark hunted iowa public in the early years , 30 years ago. THP hunts some of that same ground, rathbun lake for one
