The mistress dies, the husband and wife are still separated but the kids and mother in law try to get them back together. The series ends with them going on a walk together, smiling at each other. Kind of open ending.

The Imwife should never accept the husband even if the mistress dies at the end. His heart will always be with the mistress. Better get somebody who will love you rather than make u a patch because you are a wall he can rely on. Soon he will find another lover and leave u.
