Thanks for this video Alex. This topic was, as u said, a complete mess. Bangtan had nothing to do with this but since mhj mentioned them, everything targeted them. I don't support neither mhj or hybe, but mhj ruined a lot of things so I would never believe a thing she says 😅

I am not anti HYBE, but I am anti MHJ… I don’t spread hate, but I don’t support her or her malicious attempts to take down HYBE and BTS. BTS helped build HYBE.

Poor Illit, Le Sserafim and so many other artists she pulled in. Illit is NOT a "copy" of NJ. Not even close. Asian Entertainment and Culture made a vid a while back showing the differences between those two and also StayC for comparison. It shows rather well how they are different. But MHJ is just too focused on "branding" instead of artists and music. She choose members she could easily manipulate and spoke bad about them in text.

It makes sick how their are only interested in what brings benefits.. they don't care it all about BTS despite all the economic and cultural growth they have brought and how they are the biggest group in the world. They just want more and more and when BTS suffers they are suddenly blind. Fr there're so many countries that appreciate their artists way better just like Colombia does with Shakira. it's a national treasure All the expo in Busan organization and how they were treated was horrible and what was even worse was how the government kept using BTS' name for a military exemption that they never asked... for YEARS. BTS kept receiving a lot of criticism and hate in korea and some mixed opinions. The members always said they will go when it's needed but they ignored that and when BTS announced their hiatus for being mentally exhausted and announced their enlistment after that Busan concert, suddenly the politicians started panicking and even proposed them to do more concerts for FREE + the military service.. like WTF. They don't care it all about their mental and physical health. I'm glad the guys didn't accepted that and left embarrassed all of them lol It's so sad to see how while BTS is serving their country in the military, South Korea is turning their backs at them. You maybe didn't see the BTS accusations but man it was REALLY loud. One of the biggest hate trains in their careers for sure and this started after Mhj's press conference when they had nothing to do with it. Specially in social media but like Bora City Magazine said, it was not reported in the international media (like TV, important articles and newspapers) bc they don't take seriously rumors but man in korean it was everywhere for several days. Many armys that were in korea traveling or studying and k-armys saw it and shared it. Imagine how stressful the members must feel when they saw that? the fact they can't defend themselves is frustrating but hopefully people around them like soldiers believe in BTS. If the government and the ministry of culture decides to do an investigation against BTS just for baseless rumors, then they should definitely do it for other kpop artists and companies too bc they are the ones who their numbers in sales, streams and people attending concerts don't match it all💀 Anyways, let's keep supporting and showing a lot of love to Bangtan 💜

Yes New Jeans were promoted as BTS' little sister. Honestly, I wouldn't have checked them out if they never did the Run BTS challenge tiktok. Finally gave them a look cos choreo for Hypeboy wasnt fun. But I've been hearing about them as the Little Sisters.

hope you feel better soon!! just a fyi the info you got was part of the rumors boracity is talking about. bang pd is NOT jealous of new jeans at all. and every single label wants to surpass another so saying he wants new jeans or whoever to surpass aespa is literally NORMAL. kpop fans need to stop seeing everything as mistreatment and stop infantilizing these idols. they are at WORK. being a idol is their JOB. they WANT to win even if they beat other groups. every time they release music EVERY artist is aiming for number 1. min hee jin is manipulating the public who are not business people because if every group wants to be number 1 why is it bad to say beat this group theyre the clear competition. kpop had never been rainbow and sun shines. people gotta stop acting like it ever was and that normal business discussions and encouragement is weird.

It's especially funny since it was a private conversation and he was trying to encourage her to believe in herself and her group. This is just how he talks. I think Jin showed one of the conversations he had with Bang a while back and it looked very similar. I would have been proud if I was a fan of aespa. Because that means the group was the one to "beat" and doing very well. It's a compliment that shows their success.

They did it via a chat amp and oh dear she didn't realise using that app meant it was accessed via HYBE's own Computer System she was silly and either download the Kaoko amp to her company laptop or had in on her mobile phone(cell Phone) and linked it to HYBE's computer system. So when the internal audit was done eegg those texting messaging were all record on HYBE System. That's why you don't do 'private or/and legal' things through a company internal system but you go outside and use your own phone disconnected to the company system.

Mr. Bang pd was never jealous of newjeans. Bang pd hired min heejin to make hybe a girl group. Bang pd gave min heejin and newjeans everything

MHJ is herself at fault. She "stole" trainees and personal from Source Music. So Source Music needed a new group because they "lost" GFriend (how is speculation). Luckily Bang saw a chance to get those 2 former Izone members + a few other members. Because founding ADOR also took time Le Sserafim was debuted first. Belift always planned to form a girlgroup. It had been delayed actually. Illit is not even that close to NJ except maybe when all you obsess over is "branding". What MHJ can't stand is that they are more successfull with their debut. If it went how MHJ wanted HYBE would have no other girlgroups (maybe fromis_9 because they are to low ranked to be considered a rival). Asian Entertainment and Culture has a few interesting video essay. Among them an older one that compares Illit, NJ and StayC since there are some surface similarites while actually being very different. MHJ did not let Bang anywhere near her girls and he accepted that (too long). Instead with giving up the CEO position he made music: for TXT, Enhypen, Le Sserafim and Illit (he has his hands on all sons on their debut album). BSH is a musician but MHJ is a "brander" which has nothing really to do with that.

Miss, this is a company, not your castle. And the "crush aespa" thing was so petty. It's basically just competition between companies. It was common friendly competition to hype up MHJ and NJ (so I don't even understand why she claims that he never supported them - it seems like support to me). Nothing was insulting toward aespa at all in the text. It just implies that they are the successful ones and that he wants NJ to succeed even more. Which is logical... They just like to shit on HYBE and BSH every chance they get. They are far from perfect but no need to be immature about it People diabolize this harmless text and ignore how much worse other labels tried to "crush BTS" in very obvious attempts, using their power to directly hinder them. HYBE can't just fire her with the injunction in place. But there are the criminal trails that have not begun, yet. I think HYBE is sueing and Belift definetly is for Illit - I think one of the members was in hospital and speculation was that it had something to do with this. We will see where this goes. Funnily MHJ does not even seem to like NJ and talked negatively about them.

En realidad es mas un conflicto de gente codiciosa, mhj ya tiene un historial de acusar gente de plagio y ha trabajado con la SM (la big 3 tiene una reputación con mediaplay) sin mencionar que se han notado conductas extrañas con menores de edad incluso con su propio grupo new jeans y como esta dispuesta a lanzarlas a las pirañas mientras dice que ella es como su madre y al mismo tiempo dar a entender que son nada sin ella (manipulación) con tal de salvarse ella, a esta señora le dieron la oportunidad de debutar a new jeans como el primer girl group de hybe (algunas niñas aparecieron en el video de ptd como una forma de promoción) pero debido a que mhj quería que todo fuera "independiente" de hybe no acordaron una fecha y le sserafim ya estaba en el proceso, así que casi todo por lo que ha alegado no se ha dado por su propia codicia, también como ella misma ha nombrado cada grupo que pudo para que la gente no se enfoque en las cosas contradictorias que dice sin contar como ha puesto a illit en un lugar super incomodo sin tener siquiera 2 meses de debutar (y son menores) y por otro lado hybe simplemente dejo que mhj "hiciera lo que quisiera" con tal de tener otra "entrada" de dinero mientras hacia planes por debajo de la mesa sin tener en cuenta la seguridad de sus artistas (más codicia)

Alex the information you know about all this are just rumours and put out as a distraction, the whole thing is far more serious than that. I'm not saying Bang didn't do anything wrong in all this but MHJ is definetly out of order in all this, the soon she'd out of the picture the better for everyone (especially the girls). These girls are not at fault. They are being used and a label should protect their artists. They are also very young. MHJ does not even like them according to her chat messages. But she plays at "their mother" and even visited their parents. They are almost not rookies anymore and believe their success is soley because of MHJ not because of themselves. There is a fine line between "we can't do it without her" and "we don't want to do it without her". Guess on which side they stand? That and giving in would make HYBE look weak. It would make it harder for them to protect their artists (and that includes BTS) and get the best results for their artists.

Giving up on people that don't know they are used - especially so young - does not sit right with me. I wish there was an easy answer but there is not. But this is also a power struggle and it would not be good if HYBE lost the "war" - even when international fans don't care.

I got pneumonia, symptoms started april 8th so 2 months ago. I was taking medication but it wasn't working and I kept getting worse, so 2 weeks ago I was hospitalized for 5 days. I was discharged and am slowing recovering from home.
