Good to see the American dream alive and well..im a retired universal heavy equipment operator, from cranes, 637scrapers, dozers, excavators etc.. And I can tell you it has been a joy watching your channel.... People sometimes think that all we ever do is sit in a cab for 8-12 hours. So glad you show all the hard work mental and physical. Your channel is an inspiration to the younger generation. Thanks Mike, Matt, Aaron, for all you do And having a good time doing it. The thing i miss the most, from construction is the comorodity of just working with good men and woman. Keep grinding 💯%

I can't remember if the D5G has a battery disconnect to shut down everything or not. It should shut down everything ... including the ECM fuse/relay circuit. If there is a disconnect and the fuse stays hot, someone did some 'custom' work. I will check with Dave to see what else it could be.

You need to get a couple asphalt rakes, rather than the little garden rakes! They work better and faster. I bet the other brands of skid steer rigs have similar access problems!

A tight squeeze all round for the plant, I hope you were chained down correctly in the skidsteer Mike 😆 Hyundai proved its worth again, reaching for the far side in one swoop!!! New tracks made a big difference to the handling of your most prestigious piece of plant you own (allegedly 🤭) Aaron's hours graft on cleaning the glass paid off, apart from the windscreen 🤣 AMI rake made short work of the soil, and the camera survived the beating for good measure!! Another job in the books, complete with a good dose of micky taking too !!!!

After seeing others comment about that tree. Might help.understanding why it had to go. I worked in new home construction for over 25 years and only saw one tree saved per home owner request. It was less than 25 feet from the house, builder tried to explain why it needed to go but was rejected. He had the homeowner sign a liability release. Trees close this work will go through "root shock" and will more than likely die. On top of that, this tree roots will eventually infiltrate the field lines, very costly to redo the lines. The house I mentioned, the tree was a 4' diameter "live oak". It was declared dead within the first 6 months of owner occupation. Last I heard the homeowner ended up paying almost 10k $ to have it topped, removed, and the stump ground. Never heard about the landscaping bill but it had to be huge. So, yeah, this tree needed to go.
