Hey, Lanza at 42:24 when you mentioned Wade, the character has a voice cameo on season 4 in Zoey 101. The season 4 storyline was about Chase going to a different school in England and one of the episodes of that season is about Chase and Zoey having a virtual date and the character made his voice cameo as his roommate and called him a hobknocker.

I hated that episode. It pretty much tries to make Freddie out to be a bad guy just for having his own differing opinion and made just about everyone else seem like major butthurt jackasses because 1 person hated Fred. (To be fair even back then I absolutely HATED Fred's videos so I really related to Freddie in that episode.) Too bad the end of the episode pretty much has him forced into apologizing for having an opinion just so everyone else can be happy.

Honestly reading about how awful Jennette’s experience was while acting makes me hate how Sam was characterized,,,like, Jennette had an eating disorder and a very complicated relationship with her mother, so the fact that two of Sam’s most prominent characteristics are 1) loves food/eats a lot and 2) has an abusive/neglectful mother.....puts a sour taste in my mouth

@@babylonianbabe409 it may be acting, but that doesn't mean it can't get to the characters. an actor often has to try and feel themselves into a character. if the character is basically making fun of the actor's problems, that's gonna be really hard on the actor. it's basically an excuse for abuse.

Freddy doesn’t say “one” encase they go live a few seconds earlier. That way the viewers don’t hear him finish the countdown. It’s not uncommon in live TV

I respect Janette’s wishes for not wanting to come back. It must have been really hard for her. It would be cool if one day she could maybe get a cameo or even direct an episode or something. Our dad watched it with us sometimes, minus spaghetti tacos lol. But he's always trying to teach us lessons and stuff, even when we're just trying to chill and watch a movie. He was pointing out the adult references and suggestive languages, but we weren't having it lol. Anyways, when T-Bo was going around selling chicken breasts, and sam was like, "gimme two", we thought dad was reaching. But nah he was totally right about the adult jokes lol.

iCarly is just a really fun show to watch, to this day. Some jokes even make more sense when going back to watch them again! I’m glad to see all these little details discussed. Certified Classic is a very accurate descriptor, as iCarly was unbelievably ahead of its time. Amazing video!!

I'm not sure if this has already been said in the comments but another thing that connects the Dingo Channel and Disney Channel is the frozen head that Freddie and Spencer look for as the B plot for the episode. Dingo Studios has the head of their "leader" as Sam puts it hidden within the bowels of Dingo Studios. This is probably poking fun at the urban legend that Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen at the time of his death.

I just wanted to point something out, that Im pretty sure drake and Josh is connected to both shows as Helen Dubois from drake and Josh, later becomes the principal of victorious's school in the episode "Helen Back again", and mentions crazy Steve in the same episode (I'm only 20 minutes in the video, so you might've pointed this out later in the video, I'll edit my comment if so, but great video 👍)

The reason why Freddy doesn't say 1 is because in film production your 1 could accidentally be heard after the record button was pressed. I used to do this for AV production, so we would have point to the actors, but this was just what I did I dunno why this he does it for his purpose too.

one episode that I cant get out of my mind, is the one where they try to get the secret recipe for a coconut pie (i think) and spencer has to make out with some weird chic for it. it was a bit disturbing lol

Dan saying he “ had fun imagining what the goat did with his writers” really disturbs me….. On a lighter note, I had no idea that there was that Gibby pilot. That Set is honestly really amazing! And is that a Blix machine I see from Zoey 101? Also, fun fact: Zoey 101 Also Takes place in the same universe as Drake and Josh, Victorious, and iCarly. In the episode of iCarly called “IWas a Pageant Girl”, during the pageant, you can hear one of the contestants say that their name is Quinn Pensky. Both shows also mentioned a magazine called “Buzz Magazine” Also, I could have sworn that in a Zoey 101 episode, Zoey had a ringtone or song on her phone from iCarly. I can’t remember if it was the theme song or one of Miranda Cosgrove‘s originals. Anyone know what I am talking about?

I think what's important to keep in mind is that while shipping children is obviously creeping as in adult, it's usually the children who consume the show who are doing it. Although as a kid watching it none of them had any chemistry together.

This whole Iceberg was everywhere. Most of these are just episode a lot of people watched so it’s not that big of a surprise, the only ones that really got me were the icarly pitch, the Ijosie and the last one, all of the rest are common knowledge and I’m not sure that this was at all well made

Unfortunately Mandy didn't realize they didn't like as she was another autistic coded character meant to be mocked. One of the harder parts of the original series to watch for me personally as it reminds me a lot of the bullying I got as a kid. I didn't realize that was meant to mock people like me as a kid luckily, but it was still a weird episode to watch even then
