what if, instead of making up a story as you go along with some gimmick, you actually let the entire thing play out and then RE-WATCH stuff, make up a bunch of reasons for why things happened the way they did and make some kinda documentary styled video-essay kinda thing out of it, it might be too much work for this idea but I think it'd be cool

My guess is ice Bois developed better houses faster so they had bigger population and faster technology development. Then toasts caught up with houses and population but difference in technology was already too big
