The roster for Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the reason why its still being played. Jin never showed up again. And plus the moves that people have in this one are nice to use.

You know what would be fun Max? Write down all the characters on little slips of papers, throw em in a hat or something. Then for each round, draw three slips and play a team made up of the names that come up. Go ahead and throw the slips back into the hat after the match, but yeah. Since the game doesn't appear to have a "random all" select, I think this is the only way we'd get a "Week of Random Characters". Which I'd like to see.

Agreed, that would be a great idea. I know Max likes to mostly stick to his guns, but he really should give out a little more and actually play some of the other characters. My guess is that he doesn't want to lose, so he continues to pick the same characters over and over that net him wins. While it is a competitive game and people like to win, seeing the same Strider + Doom assist lockdown gets old fast.

Playing randoms in this game is BEYOND hard. Being decent with characters in Marvel 2 is a herculean task in itself.

My favorite parts of Iceman were his immunity to chip damage from energy attacks and the massive amounts of chip damage his ice beam did. One of my favs from that game.

Yeah apparently besides Jean Grey//Phoenix, Iceman is one of the most powerful of the X-men. It happened shortly after he became a member of Golden Squadron and was manipulated by Emma Frost who used his power to an degree he wasn't so sure he was capable of before. Afterwards Emma hinted that Bobby Drake could have the potential to be one of the most powerful mutants on Earth. Essentially Bobby learned from that experience and harnessed his abilities to creative and frightening new levels by exploring his powers to the fullest. Then he got a second mutation in where he was destroyed almost completely and built his body entirely back together, have complete control over molecular and subatomic energies, gained thermal vision, with a thought he can freeze the flow of blood to the brain and reverse the process with no side effects, and even evaporate someone into nothingness and reverse the process. He has even shown that his powers are so great over molecular make up, that he is able to control chemical reactions on the molecular level, to the point he can prevent superhumans such as Sunfire even accessing/using their powers with a thought. Also he has Hydrokinesis.

One Man Parade Yeah it's not that much different from when turned out that Wally West as the Flash was one the most dangerous members of the Justice League when he learned is far faster than Super Man, and can even steal Kinectic energy from other speedsters.

For people wanting to get into iceman play, make sure your air horizontal icebeams are almost right off the ground. You have less recovery then doing it on the ground. Unless you get a good area effect assists like Doom rocks, just a FYI! :)

Just get Warmachine all of his missle based attacks(shoulder canon/war destory/proton canon) chip iceman, it's fun to watch an Iceman panic when they notice that an attack that in their opinion shouldn't take a bit of damage is now got 1/16th of their life chipped out.

for ultimate lockdown u should dashthem and have ur eagle come in with a bomb so u can have more safety while doom assist is out then u can go right back into ouroburos

One of the most underrated characters of this game has to be Omega Red, I rarely see people touch him but poeple who do play him do some really insane combos and mix ups, I think people avoid him because he is one of the harder characters to learn, if you know his ins and outs with a good team he can be very deadly..

Skullgirls is like impossible to get into because of the insane combos. Try joining a 'begginers' lobby with a controller. Thats one of the few games where having a fightstick really is an advantage

popcorn82b wrong dude, he doesn't take take chip all around from laser type moves, only thing the ice fist does is make his normal punching hits do chip damag but he needs to use it about 3 times.

Iceman and Colossus were the best assists what're you talking about. Iceman's assist was like Pure's but way better. But yeah in MVC2 he's hella unpredictable.

don't forget about psylocke and michelle heart but how was it good I found it to be terrible and no one ever used iceman assist MVC1 nor has anyone said it was good
