The Unit that debuted UNB introduced to me some of the groups mentioned in this video such as Boys Republic, Imfact, A.C.E, U-Kiss, etc though I've already known Hotshot due to two of their members that were in PD101. Edward Avila's videos introduced me to VAV. And yes, Kville Entertainment's use of Cross Gene's song as their intro really made search what was the name of this catchy song. I first saw KNK when they were in Weekly Idol with Astro and another kpop group during their rookie days. I discovered History's "죽어버릴지도 몰라" and Uniq's "EOEO" when they were usually in the same list of videos titled "underrated kpop songs" or something similar. For The Ark, I found out about them when one of their members Kim Euna participated in The Unit as well and that she's really good in what she's doing. Their debut song "The Light" was amazing to listen to and it was very emotional to think that this was a debut song. I searched on why weren't they huge with their song and there were speculations that because of the Sewol Ferry tragedy (2014), their MV (2015) reminded people of that unfortunate incident so it wasn't a big hit at that time (( though a few years later when people were healing, the song caught people's eyes from what i've read online )) and also because one of the members injured their vocal chords (?) if I can remember that correctly. Pink Fantasy was because one of their members participated in one of the I Can See Your Voice episodes with Mamamoo as the guests.

Being into nugu groups is so painful, in the last 2-3 years I’ve watched like 5 of my favorite groups disband just because they weren’t popular enough. SKYLE is one of my absolute favorites and even though they have only had 1 true comeback other than their debut, they are most likely about to disband because they haven’t come back in almost 2 years (dangerous territory). Da da da is such a masterpiece from them, it is so sad to watch groups like these disband when they have such good music. Some of my favorite groups were Bling Bling Hot Issue Pink Fantasy Bugaboo GWSN (though could be argued not nugu) Although there are also some that are on the verge of disbanding such as SKYLE Ichillin Lightsum Weeekly (though also maybe not considered nugu, just sad after their success with After School) DreamNote (their song “Wish” is what got me into them and was so good. Luckily, they have just announced their next comeback so hopefully that means they won’t disband, although we won’t know until after this next comeback) It is so sad to watch these groups go after you grow such a connection to them. All you can do is wish the members luck on their future endeavors after disbandment, as sad as it is.
