I thought this movie had a ton of potential, but the film never really took any risks. The ending of the movie also drove me insane. How could a person finish a movie in such a "good" way? I don't think the film truly earned the "simplistic" ending. When I saw it, I felt very similar to a Black Mirror episode. The difference between this movie and a Black Mirror type episode is that Black Mirror provided something new. At the end of the day, I felt as though this movie was quite uninteresting, yet still, to a point, thought provoking.

Just watched it. The "white room- effect" was nonexistent, unless the meaning were the room representing something deeper than the real life torture method. I think the point was to express their past life experiences, and how different sides of life they'd come from. Spesifically pointing at the woman, and her gambler-father relationship and how she ended up helping him instead of taking the money herself. She decided to give away the money,(that was so important to her to have for the whole movie, she wanted that all at all costs) and by looking at her last appearence, feeling better and in peace with her past and her fathers wrong-doings. Breaking the circle of focusing on the money. This had real potential to become most anxious nervewrecking psychological horror movie, but ended up to be mind-development and forgiveness. Interesting, but I didn't expected the movie being flat and boring to watch.

Just found you guys channel after watching Immaculate Room today and everything you guys said was soooo on point... so boring and they could've pushed the boundaries sooo much to challenge the characters more. Really deep dive into their psyche, their trauma and their resolve. So many plots got introduced all to go nowhere. The movie felt like one big tease after another. I couldn’t tell if it should have been longer to flesh out the side plots or hell even the main plot, or shorter and to have committed to it being all fixed for them to lose and just go nuts for the dude watchings entertainment. There was one scene around where the bug is introduced where it does show the wrong time. I was thinking with what dude said earlier that the seconds felt longer, that it was intentional, but the rest of the movie the timer is consistent. Then it just blue balls you at the end so you don’t know if she even made it all the way through anyway. Or what the point of the “anonymous donor” under the name of the shelter was for.

Dude, the time fuck up that said 30 days left instead of like 23 had me so confused. I thought for sure they were going to wake up to it saying all sorts of different times. But nope! I think it was an editing error??? If so that person should be fired from film forever cause how?? It was a close up shot on purpose to show how much time was left. Ugh

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who has noticed the wrong number on the timer...I think the 'anonymous donor' sign is an implicit way to say she's made it through, and also became a better person, because she ended up donating to her father's rehab, or at least that's I got from it
@chitownRB33 Жыл бұрын
@@_crismar yea I’m sure she did. She was almost done when they last showed her. The thing is she lost a lot of money on the “treats” so she probably wasn’t left with as much as they made it seem.

Ya know, I'm about to watch this, but one 'in one location' movie I did like, I can't remember the title, it was semi-recent, and it was like,...space prison? Like, the focus was on one chamber, but we're shown that there's a bunch of these orbiting chambers. Any idea what I'm talkin' about? It features one guy and then later one girl is introduced.

O think it was ok more like one of those mind f@ck movies I use to watch I actually like the fact that they don't let the viewing audience see the doctors and the people responsible for putting people in the Immaculate room but it's ollso not very realistic giving them some of those or that one item I think pl that watch the movie knows what I mean at least they wouldn't do that in the USA

I don’t want to say it’s the worst movie I’ve seen this year . But of the 155 movies I’ve seen this year it definitely pissed me off the most and felt the most pointless lol. Also 50 days is nothing I could be in a room by myself that long for 5 million dollars .

I'm ok with the fact that there was not much pushing the characters but I would expect they have to stay longer instead of only 50 days. 500 days for 5 million would have been more believable in terms of mental breakdowns.

Whaaaaaat?! You have OBVIOUSLY never been put in any type a isolation before. They'd be dead FAR before 100 days. No one could last 500 as a pair. Only a very few could survive alone as a single, but introduce another person and its over even faster, contrary to belief.

Yeah would of put a hole in Michael’s head no way I wasted 50 days for 1 mill especially when he could of just chilled for a few. More days he was just selfish and wrong about the room host wanting them to leave to prove their humanity 😡 he just wanted to watch them idk if he cared either way.. it’s a ok movie but by the end the girl just seems more reasonable and logical then the overly emotional guy…
