I don't understand why people are hating on my boy Elliott, he's one of the nicest and most respectful characters. Also in his 10 heart cutscene he ASKS you if you want to join him.... You don't have to.

Given what Alex dealt with growing up, I could actually kind of see him being the first one to call out abusive behavior.

Shane: takes you to another town (there’s a crowd so you should be safe) Sebastian: takes you out to the middle of nowhere (he can’t chase you with his motorcycle if you run through the trees) Elliot: takes you out to the middle of the ocean (hope you can swim) Harvey: takes you up in a hot air balloon (better hope you can fly cause you’re stuck) So yeah it makes sense Alex is the only one that finds this creepy lmao. He just takes you on a dinner date in town. I still married Sebastian and Elliot cause I need a bit of angst jk Edit: guys I didn’t add Sam cause 1. I simply forgot about his scene sorry 2. LOVE the love for Alex, I feel like people don’t give him enough chances because he’s kind of the classic douchebag in the beginning, but when you gain enough hearts and date/marry him, he’s such a sweetheart. He was my first husband in my first game (before I entered the depths of the fandom) and when I finally started looking into Stardew content I realized he was quite under appreciated, so this makes me super happy!! Well, in my case, my famer is Minnow, and I sort of decided he was actually secretly a merman, so Elliot was perfect. And, in my headcanon, Elliot already knew Minnow was a merman by this point, so I suppose I didn't think about ith through that lense. It's WAY more romantic if the farmer is a merperson and Elliot knows.

So, while ago on Stardew Valley I got married to Sebastian on my 2nd year, I was already deciding between Sebastian and Elliot. I didn’t know what would happen if you give the bouquet to another person while married so I wanted to test it out. Got Elliot one, gave it, got Elliot’s hearts up to ten and then the event came. I didn’t even know about the event, I was sweating so bad and I kid you not, accidentally pressed the “Yes” or “Yea” button instead of “No.” That was the day my character accidentally cheated on her husband and he never knew. It took me like a week, though, to figure out it was an event you can’t really escape💀

Elliot is by far one of the least problematic residents in Stardew. Leave the man alone. XD I fell in love with him the moment I met him. His reception to the player is so inviting when compared to everyone else. That being said, this video is hilarious.

You could argue that any kiss from the bachelors and bachelorettes of stardew could be "creepy" if you get kissed by one of them you must be dating them, the creator only tried adding a little romance in to the game for everyone to enjoy, maybe a boat ride with your partner isnt something you would find romantic, but others do, maybe a bike ride into the dark outskirts of town isnt romantic to you but it is to others, everyone has their own preferences and we should respect eachothers opinions. We can all atleast agree that Stardew valley is an amazing game!
