"Representation is that thing that makes you think, if they can, I can!" Faith speaks about her personal definition of representation. In this talk, she mentions what kind of impact representation had on her growing up and the effect of its absence.
Faith lives in Hamburg with her husband and daughter as an author, poet and works as an editor. So far she has published two volumes of poetry. She published her first volume "Mirror, Mirror" in 2020, her second collection "'pretty for a black girl'. is not a compliment!" in February 2022.
She has spoken as a guest poet at Oxford University, Black Future Week Berlin and at the Weciety event. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
