Look at them the same as you look at the last 10 days of Ramadan. Prepare your heart. Ask Allah ﷻ to help you. - Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis -

Thank you for sharing Dhul- Hijah. Dhul- Hijah is one of the four sacred months in Islam . “ The number of the months , with God ,is twelve in the Book of God, the day He created the heaven and the earth; four of them are sacred. That is the right religion. So wrong not each other during them . “ Surah 9 ( Repentance ) : 36.

I thank you so much for theses lectures. , They are so important and make me realize I'm guilty of many things , and give the possibility to correct and repent . JazakAllahbikheir inchAllah Three is one important question to me : Is it a sin if I ask Allah to pardon my Christian father for his beleave in the trinity , he died some time ago and I need to know if I can continue asking Allah to pardon my dad !!

I'm a year late so hopefully you've figured it out, sorry no one got back to you sooner! Dhul Hijja comes 3 months after Ramadan (so Ramadan is the 9th month and Dhul Hijja is month 12, the final month. This year, 2024, it starts on either 7th or 8th June (meaning it starts from sunset on those evenings, and dependent on the moon sighting). The first day of the month is when these blessed ten days begin. It is sunna to fast the first nine days. The we should make lots of dua on day of Arafat (day 9). "Fasting on this date expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year." (Hadith from Muslim). Eid ul adha is day 10. Note it is prohibited to fast on Eid but we can pray, say dhikr, make dua, do good deeds etc. May Allah accept from us all.
