I was definitely there tons of padres fans, shields had already pissed us off and who doesn’t celebrate Bartolos only home run. Everyone cheated that dong and further traded shields immediately for Tatis jr.

I've seen some big homeruns in my day. Reggie hits 3. Aaron hits 715. Bonds and McGwire hit 70 to name a few. But this one is the most heartwarming and enjoyable. Go Big Sexy.

Aw, maaan.... killing me. Tears. Our Mets had the oldest player to hit a home run (Julio Franco, who had 127 rbis in that game) and the oldest to hit his first. I tried to be a Yankee fan after Joan Payson traded TOM SEAVER because she couldn't, in her old age addled brain, justify paying a pitcher 250K who worked every 4 days. Oh yeah, I've been around...I bleed blue and orange.

All to speed up the game for a bunch of fans who can't pry there phones out of their hands long enough to really care about whats happening on the field. The worst of which is how many times a pitcher can throw over to first base and the guy on second base to start off in extra innings.
