ive been on playstation since playing medal of honor as a kid back on the ps2. got the ps3 and ps4 as well. Now im waiting on my order for the xbox series x.

After a, for the most part, disappointing gen it's amazing Xbox started this gen really strong this time round, this'll be the best Xbox generation yet!

I'm specifically excited to see the new IPs that the Activision devs bring in, Xbox's original devs have a specific type of game they make, Bethesda's developers have a known formula of what to expect, but the developers such as toys 4 bob, raven, high moon, demonware, treyarch, infinity ward and sledgehammer have been forced into cod and couldn't express their creative freedom, I can't wait to see what their creative minds think of.

The future is looking bright. Glad I invested and bought a Series X and I'm locked for 2 years of Game Pass Ultimate at $4.50/m. I'll be getting a Series S soon also.

I keep seeing people praising Phil, which is amazing! but, give some of that love to the Microsoft CEO satya, he’s the one green lighting these ideas and acquisitions and putting money into the Xbox ecosystem, both him and Phil deserve praise

Phil Spencer bought Activision Blizzard to help give Rand plenty of content to produce after his time off.

World of warcraft as an xbox console exclusive would be the perfect counter to ff14 on playstation. Especially if they can stop making WoW a money pit and timesink and make it fun again.

I want a Prototype 3 with a great story, better gameplay running on Unreal Engine 5 with environmental destruction. I also want a new Tenchu game, perhaps Xbox can go to From Software and pay them to do it 💯.

I honestly believe Xbox wasn't considering Activision until Activision approached to them. I think Xbox was looking at other publishers at the time. I strongly please the Sega acquisition will happen in the future but at the moment they are playing it safe by being partners. Ubisoft was my favourite publisher and I hope Xbox saves Ubisoft.

It’s been a long hard road for Microsoft heads, it was worth the wait. As someone who owns every platform I prefer to game on Xbox and pc I only use my ps5 for exclusive only just like I did last Gen, but now that Sony is releasing their first party on pc, the PS5 is losing me right now.

Here are some titles that I'm looking forward to: Sniper Elite 5 Weird West Darktide Replaced Redfall Starfield Stalker 2 The Outer Worlds 2 Hellblade 2 Wolfenstein 3 Fallout 5 The ES6 Next Quake, Doom All cod games Crash Bandicoot Diablo 4 Singularity 2 hopefully And more. The problem with Sony acquiring studios is that it doesn’t help PlayStation fans even though they call it a win. If Sony acquires Square Enix then PS owners still have to pay $70 per game. Nothing changes for them. Xbox at least puts their first party games on Gamepass day 1. So Xbox players benefit.

An Xbox smash game would be insane with the amount of IPs they have.

I hope Microsoft looks at Nintendo and see what they have done with Mario and Zelda over the years and use that imagination and care to revitalise these 90s platforming legends and make some classic games. I’d love too see a Spyro or Crash game on the same level as a Mario 3d world title.

I hope Fallout 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas can get a remake... Please

The most I’m excited about is call of duty and halo (or even a crossover game) cross platform compatibility via cloud gaming (so they’re all simultaneously playable on tablets, smart phones, PC, Xbox and people who play via gamepass cloud gaming will be matched all across these platforms) and TV/movie streaming all available in gamepass. I just know this is where Microsoft is going.

they got plenty of racers, rpgs, shooters, think it would be nice to use some of that Activision IP and create some open world games and bring back True Crime (basically a copy of Sleeping dogs but with its original name) new city, new characters, new fighting styles depending on location. Also have the Police Quest IP so modernize it, make it an open world cop game where you work your way up the ranks from traffic cop to detective, can have corrupt cops, undercover, really good stories, pull people over, car chases etc

More Quality games whatever they are. Game Pass has broadened the type of games I play. No longer have to decide if there are any games I am willing to fork out my hard earned cash for I can try loads of games. Suspect I may get stuck on Starfield though.

I'm excited to see what other IPs, some of the Call of Duty studios make. Also excited to see how call of duty can get better now that it probably won't have a yearly release! Xbox is definitely the way to go !

The best thing is they’ll all be coming to Game Pass day one. No need to even stress about it, or try and follow all that. Just simply download them when they’re available. Only thing you have to worry about is making sure you have space on your SSD.

I'm in no rush to grab a ps5 or series X since I was able to grab a series S and they keep adding more and more stuff to the gaming netflix that is GamePass. Just wished S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 wasn't delayed but otherwise having a blast with the content microsoft is putting out. Halo was surprisingly fun and I keep going back to Forza Horizon 5(game is HUGE) but Back4Blood and Mass Effect Remastered keeps me happy right now :)

I'm highly anticipating how Guitar Hero is going to work, Phil mentioning it got me so excited. But you can't just drop Guitar Hero Live or other older GH titles into Game Pass without having the instruments available and you can't just go out and buy them right now....so how will that work. Maybe a made to order page for the instruments custom built at a higher premium so they're made on demand, you'll get em shipped to you, but this way there's not a warehouse full of unsold instruments somewhere?

Activision blizzard to xbox studios doesnt just add COD. Having all the talented studios their and there adds the potential to make new ip, revive old ip from their catalog and xbox catalog. Shared engines, tech, animation studios, online tech etc. Xbox studios quality just got upgraded ⏫⏫crazy!🤯

I was happy to receive my pre-ordered Xbox Series X on November 10, 2020. It is reassuring to see MS assertively invest this generation.

- Sony used their market dominance since the Xbox One to constantly moneyhat exclusives and never giving the chance for a fanbase to cultivate on another platform, i.e. Final Fantasy. - Sony was prepared to go all in this gen to kill off Xbox once and for all. - Microsoft played the Uno Reverse card...can't get third party exclusives? By the damn studio and lock PlayStation from the games forever. - Now MS/Xbox hold more of the cards. Xbox dictates the terms and Sony has to bend the knee and play by Xbox's rules if they ever want to see games like CoD or other games now owned by Xbox on PlayStation again. If people didn't want to see the level of escalation we're seeing now today... well, they shouldn't have been so comfortable commending the ever increasing frequency and severity of deals Sony was making to cripple their primary competition. "Final Fantasy sells 80%+ on PlayStation anyways, so they may as well" and by extension "of course it makes sense for game X to skip Xbox, because the audience is all on PlayStation". Well, congrats... now they won't all be. The rampant desire for the glory days of PS2-era domination has led us here, and so cries about how unfair it is ring hollow.

Xbox can probably acquire one more AAA publisher, but not Activision level as laws would prevent it. I think WB Games is possible. After that going for smaller AAA developers would suit them well.
