I scrolled past this movie at least 5 times....so glad I decided to watch it! This story had everything a movie could and way beyond! I was captured to every line and scene. Just brilliant! Mary Bryant was determined, courageous, strong, resilient and did what she had to try to save her family and survive.

Great film! I'm a huge fan of most of these actors but it's the first time I have ever seen anything with Romola Garai. She is just incredible in every way! I see exactly why every man who laid eyes on her fell head over heels for her! Incredibly talented! I have also been a great fan of Sam Neill! He is amazing in everything I have seen him in!

There are no words to express the pain the heart feels at the loss of a spouse and a child let alone 3 of them. This is a fantastic story and it even is true.

There are quite a lot of details that are not historically correct (her husband was not shot, for example. He died in fever in Batavia) but the main lines, main points of this movie, are factual.

it's not entirely factual - for example Lt. Ralph Clarke wasn't involved with her irl, though they both were on the journey. But I suppose they wanted to add some romantic drama.

I admit I was a bit skeptical before watching this film but I am very glad I've seen it! Fantastic acting loaded with action & then some! I didn't really know anything about Mary Bryant before seeing this. She lived a very hard life & experienced terrible events, but at least she survived in the end.

awesome movie I love most of these performers dearly, but this is the first time I have ever seen anything starring Romola Garai. She is really amazing in every way! Every male who saw her fell head over heels for her, and I can totally understand why! extraordinary talent Sam Neill has long been one of my favorite actors.

What an awesome story. She was a very strong woman and an inspiration to many. No human should ever have to live thru all the trauma,abuse,and devastation she did.this makes my struggles in life seem nothing compared to hers. I must look further to see what became of this incredible ladys life after she went back to her family.

She lived in poverty along with her family after coming home but at least she lived free after coming back home . No one should be allowed to starve in a world of plenty . It’s peoples lack of compassion that walks by the starving .

Junto com bandidos perigosos, Mary Bryant é enviada, no final do século 19, para a Austrália, a colonia penal da Inglaterra. Depois de uma viagem de 251 dias nas piores condições, eles chegam a primitiva Botany Bay, e Mary dá a luz a uma menina. Daí em diante só emoção. Vale muito apena!!! Excepcional
