Yes samskaras are required to produce spiritually inclined children with knowledge and practice. One cant achieve anything perfectly even in material life- let alone spiritual sadhana- without control of senses and practice of brahmacharya (during student life and limiting by rules even in married life). Even now many vaidikas (though dwindling in number thanks to missionaries lies)in Bharat practice all these , though society does not recognize that they live as an example among them.

@@gam3827 People often confuse Brahmacharya as not to marry, abstain from sex etc., but I am glad you defined it properly. Marriage is a prerequisite in Hinduism and all our Gods depicted with wives. Other than egoless sages, no one can suppress their Kama or desires and marriage is a must. Hindu principles apply to all varnas including Shudras though their roles are different and Brahmins are custodians and propagators of Vedic knowledge. I have faith in them that some of them practice this. It pains me when I hear about meat eating and alcoholic brahmins and beef eating Nambudri Brahmins. British promoted meat eating and fake Brahmins during reconversions by creating fake castes. In all these confusions, finding true knowledge is a difficult task for a genuine seeker. Sticking to festivals and reverse engineer the Hindu customs and practices will remove the smoke of some of corrupted scriptures. We are in tough times but there is a light ahead of the tunnel with Hindu renaissance.

People who call you backward have SELF hatred. They are deeply dysfunctional. They need therapy and chakra balancing.

Astrology is very hard to understand.May be that astrologer was not well educated.

yes there are karmic signs, and many astrologers predict that there is dosha in horoscope and partners may not lost. They can predict death but divorce is a new concept. Astrology should be used to sail through bad times with compatibility of each other's planetray positions. This need not be suspected. From morning to night, birth to death, our life, health functions are governed by sun cycle planets movements etc. Right from the way we breathe, when we sleep, when we feel hungry....

it is because ayurveda college education is deliberately diluted with allopathy teaching, no sanskrit , translated books and no traditional gurus. They are even taught to combine allopathy and ayurveda. karma vipaka , astrology , upasana etc that are intergral part of ayurveda are totally ignored. i.e. out of the three healing methods,- mani, mantram and aushadam- only aushadam is now practiced because that only makes money. Shame on India and its politicians for deliberately diluting ayurveda to promote pharma agenda
