I always see people hating on this movie, and sure it's not doing anything inventive, but it's funny, switches focus off of Bob, we get to see other supers and their powers, the animation is amazing, and it's a good time. I like it! Also Jimmy called Saul's voice but I was waiting for him to hear Mike Ehrmentraut!

Fun Fact: the guy who voices Rick is actually Jonathan Banks aka Mike from Breaking Bad/BCS. So, we essentially had a bit of a reunion with him and Bob Odenkirk.

The guy who voiced Undermine is John Ratzenberger. He played Cliff on Cheers and has since become one of the most active voice over actors in Hollywood. Just about any animated movie you can think of has got him voicing someone in it somewhere.

If it wasn’t for Spider-Man 2’s and Invincible’s train scenes I would say Elasti-Girl stopping the train is the best superhero movie train sequence (oddly specific category I know). Just so imaginative and beautifully animated. Not going to lie, Elasti Girl actually might be Top 10 Superheroes for me (Frozone’s probably top 20)

Jimmy! There's a short film that was included on the DVD (and I think they played it in theaters before this film) that shows what happened with Jak-Jak and the babysitter at the end of the first film that is absolutely hilarious, so check it out when you can.

I can't remember him from the 1st one, but that is the voice of Jonathan Banks, Mike E. from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Then @ 5:06 we hear the voice of Saul Goodman himself, Bob Odenkirk. Yeah, Frozone's superpower ifs dope!

I would never have asserted that this movie was anything less than....*ahem*...incredibly entertaining.

The Incredibles 2 was a really good movie, it just had the insurmountable task of trying to top the Incredibles. I think the primary issues people have with this movie are: 1) They had to regress the characters to give them room to grow. The worst offender is how they made Elastigirl a hypocrite by making her do what she criticized Bob for in the first movie. They also took away some of Violet's newfound confidence and made Bob all prideful again. 2) The villain didn't make any sense. Her motive is that she hates how people overly rely on superheroes despite the fact that supers have been out of action for about a decade and things seem fine. Her plot to get rid of supers doesn't logically fit in a world that already did get rid of them. She could have accomplished the goal of stopping her brother's plans to bring supers back in more simple less risky ways (she could have just hypnotized her brother) Outside of that, it has amazing animation, great direction, on-point comedy very relatable to parents, perfect action, iconic soundtrack, etc. It's all around a 9/10 movie, it's just missing that final sauce to get the 10/10 many including myself consider the original to be.

I have no clue why people said to skip this 1 I liked it just as much as the 1st. Jak Jak is my favorite child character of all time BY FAR!!! the kids from US are 2nd(because they actually listened and did something instead of being liabilities!) Jak Jak is never the cliche in danger baby he's actually the most powerful and he's not crying he's always down for the adventure, laughing, and ready to kick ass. Jak vs RaccoonBurglar is a top 5-8ish superhero movie fights for me hell I want a Adventures of Jak Jak like 15min show Looney Toons style for him and Raccoon being daffy duck to his bugs bunny. Because like Daffy the racoon was dumb enough to still want beef with the clearly better and always gonna win Bugs/Jak.

Edna Mopes stole the movie yet again, for me. That she actually enjoyed the opportunity to watch Jack-Jack, and that JJ clearly enjoyed her company, down to mimicking her mannerisms is hilarious.

I think the reason people go off on this movie is because the first movie set the bar *incredibly* high. It's so rich in themes, depth, and atmosphere. It's one of the best films ever made. The sequel is fun, but it doesn't make a ton of sense if you dig a little deeper with the story of this one.

I liked this movie. It just felt like jack jack gave me the most enjoyment this movie. This movie you could tell was supposed to be like the moms turn to go out and be a super hero while the dad stayed home with the kids. Which is fine except the mom still felt like she didnt have much comedic elements to her. She got a lot more action this movie which I think is great. When she got excited and bragged over the phone it seems funny at 1st until you realise she is just doing the things she got all pissy about her husband doing. The dad having trouble dealing with the kids was funny. I wish they did a movie where the whole family gets more action not just the mom or the dad. The family came together and all got some action towards the end fight on the boat but still... you could see this movie being a tilt towards being a mom can do all the same things as a dad and vice versa. The kids for sure stole the show this movie. To me it seemed like dash had less comedic screen time though. He was only in for the jokes about his school work. The rest of the scenes he was in were just kind of having him there or fighting. I also liked how they added more screen time for frozone. Violets girl drama was slightly entertaining but more of an annoyance than anything. The villain in this movie seemed ehh compared to the 1st. I dont know she seemed less menacing once you figure out who she is. Overall it was an ok movie though. I dont think it is on the same level as the 1st. Thats my opinion you can like or not. Just be respectful.

I think this about as good as you can get following the first, and SOOOO long of a wait. Story overall was meh. But entertaining enough to fill in between several wonderful action sequences with lots of cool powers on display.

Gonna be honest, I feel like this movie is Pixar's biggest cash grab and it shows a *lot* in the story. I wanted to like it so much but it's missing just about everything that made the first such a classic.
