And as with Raifort, he proceeds to demonstrate a compete lack of basic danger skills. (Also Volo himself seems to have a type. In PLA after everything went to shit, the person he chose to confide in and open up to was Laventon. So who's the first person he goes to after months of hiding on Pasio? Another purple scientist who made a pokédex)
