The place always felt odd, and I now get it much more after seeing this video. Very weird, upper middle class chummy, morons was my instant reaction to talking to the management. Dodged a bullet I guess.

I still keep going back to the This Morning interview with Kim Woodburn years ago where at the end she calls him a big phoney. They all knew he wasn’t a very pleasant man.

My niece was a guest on the show, she was a beauty blogger at the time so was there to do something with that. Nobody else, seems to remember the time he got in trouble for undressing around children, during his Joseph run. It was explained away as an error of judgment and new standards were brought in to ensure, things like this would not happen in future... Funny thing is, Jason Donavon gave an interview stating that the new rules were a good thing, but they shouldn't have been necessary as it was common sense for actors not to undress around children and no actor in their right mind would do this... plus he said when he was doing Joseph, he had his own dressing area 'so it's not like he didn't have somewhere private to change' I'm praying someone out there has a memory longer than a goldfish. Then there was the time in the broom cupboard, where the show finished early and he was playing with his gopher 😅 Surely I'm not the only one who remembers.😢

The bit that made me turn and hate the pair of them was when they cut in line at the Queen’s Funeral really. That was the instant I realised these were a pair of terrible people and it was only a matter of time before one of them shoved their foot in it so deep they couldn’t run.

From my understanding Philip is currently paying for a lawyer to represent the young man. On what planet is this ok, even without the current saga. Unbelievable. I don't agree with anything schofield has done, but you have to be factually correct. EDIT: There's a 2014 Manchester News article about MM visiting the 'this morning' set, with his age written as 18 in the article, confirming his birth year as 1996.

It angered me when Phil kept saying he’s very, very sorry. He’s only very, very sorry he was found out and exposed to the public. How can such a selfish person and such a selfish liar suddenly have a change of heart. He also lied after he was found guilty where he’s not sorry to anyone, he’s only sorry for himself for getting found out. That time when he was crying and being supported on This Morning one time, that looked like a sympathy thing where he was fishing for sympathy. That other thing when Phil said he didn’t know if he was bi-sexual or gay. How can he have not known? Anyone would know if they are sexually attracted to women and men or only sexually attracted to men. How can anyone not know if they are into the opposite gender, both or the same? It’s like a man going to bed with another man and suddenly thinking, “Oh gosh. I just remembered I’m only into women.” The only thing about Phil that is perfect is him leaving ITV and getting the sack. Obviously, the only reason why he left those ITV programmes was to hide his shame because he couldn’t face the others where he knew they found out about his true nasty self. The man is a joke, a waste of space and the most inconsiderate person going when it comes to trust. Phil can’t even be trusted with a bag of dog shit. When he makes his accuses, he makes me more and more angry where he’s like a terrible play actor.

I dont think the public knows a fraction of what really went on behind the scenes at ITV daytime television. Underage interns need to be protected in the workplace, this is the real issue here. From management at ITV, to the presenters and everyone in between. The people who are paid the big bucks and hold the power, all of these people who mustve known what went on, everyone of them needs to be investigated by an outside independent sourse. Children must be protected!

i still find it funny when he came out as gay. every media outlet and newspaper had it as the main news of the day. but the publics reaction was "wait he was in the closet?" like everyone knew he was gay already and the media thought everyone would cheer and support him by having spontaneous street parties and giving him a knighthood. but no one cared because everyone already thought he was gay

It is interesting how the media establishment treats this particular case of grooming compared to other notorious cases. BBC front pages are busy trying to settle things down for him, and we know the ITV cover-up already.

He reminds me of a co-worker I was seeing. He was a second in charge middle management. I figured out he'd lied to me the entire time we were seeing each other, and was having sex at work with a married woman after hours while being paid, while planning his escape route with yet another woman (didnt work with us). It all came out in the wash and he pegged it with the third woman. I also found out he'd tried it on with other ladies at work. Bosses knew all along what he was doing and did nothing. He tried to get me fired for calling him a cunt. So I got in trouble. We also have another employee who harasses young girls. He gets participation trophies every month. It's disgusting and infuriating. This is what large businesses do, they protect the guilty and turn a blind eye to their predatory ways. In my case, i think because they're too lazy to find replacements.

I reckon Stephen Mulhern will have something come out about him eventually too. He's always given me the same off feeling that Schofield has.
