I thought Trang An was way more crowded with tours coming from Hanoi (since it's closer than Tam Coc). We were in midst of 100 other boats in Trang An. Tam Coc was much calmer. We were the only boat when we got it. Also the hills were closer to each other in Tam Coc so it felt much more mystical in the river.

Nice! Well, I think we both can agree they are beautiful spots even if we seem to have had opposite experiences with each. If you're still in Vietnam, Enjoy!

Definitely both are magical! We finished Vietnam but landscapes were really inspiring and we hope to go back maybe some day.
