I’ve always wanted my favorite characters to live a good and happy life and then will herondale did that and I was crying for days

the first time I read that trilogy it was also christmas eve. At that time I didn't knew it was a ✨vibe✨ but I spend the whole christmas dinner crying over clockwork princess

let me just say that this video brought me so much agony but like also like this sense of kinship? i cried everywhere sunny cried and screamed at like the love between these characters etc and there truly will never be another series like this that fundamentally impacted my foundation as a person

This trilogy is Cassandra Clare's magnum oppus, like i read the six TMI books, the TDA trilogy and i know there are other trilogies and separate books out there but THIS ONE is just so special..... what she did with Will, Jem and Tessa was so unique and i'm so grateful that she created such a wonderful love story between them :(

I first read the trilogy when I was like 13, and then I read them 8 years after, and I realize a lot of details that I had missed/didn't care that much. I confirm the hole story hits diffent the second time you read it, but keeps being a Masterpiece anyways. I speak spanish tho, I've always had the curiosity of read them in english because of the language accuracy, and you just convinced me to buy them now in english haha thanks for reading out loud some parts of the book, because I can remember those exact same lines but in spanish ✨

I read these books shortly after they came out and now I'm a whole ass 25 years old, I swear I still think about them weekly and I read them once a year😭 I always start my reading year with a reread and I finished them a few weeks ago and I'm finding it so hard to focus on other books because my brain just keeps floating back to them💔 Truly the most beautiful love triangle. The bit that got me was when you said "Jem is the only thing keeping them together." And that hits so hard because he's also the only thing keeping them apart😭 Nah, too far.

I finished reading this trilogy for the 1st time 2h ago. I loved the last book so much. I haven't cried this hard in a while, i love will with all my heart, he deserves the world. What i loved most in this trilogy was the bond between will and jem, they truly were everything to eachother and to have a friend like that is all i can wish for. The epilogue in clockwork princess made me so happy for jem and will because will lived a life full of happiness with tessa and jem had his opportunity to be happy with her as well. I also loved magnus so so much in this trilogy, his words meant the world to will and to me. Now, tessa... i like her as a person, she has a lot of qualities but the fact that she loves both of them doesn't sit right with me and so i don't love her like i do the rest, but i liked her a lot more in the last book which makes me think that maybe when i reread these books, i'll understand her better. Finally, their love for books was so precious, it made me really happy to read their conversations about different books and characters

Listen.....im a black dude who grew up despising and making fun of Twilight fandom in my teenage years,while secretly i was reading these 3 Shadowhunter Prequels that were actually pretty damn good. Tessa,Jem,and Will is really well done Love Triangle. Will's torture when it came to that Prophecy about the next person to love him would die,only for it not to be true. 😢 Jems Body being destroyed due to having to take that Drug in order to prolong his life. 😢 that ending to Clockwork Prince,with Will's sense of hope and eagerness to confess his Love for Tessa only to be blindsided by the announcement of her engagement to Jem. Heart destroyed in my chest

I cried... Like ugly cried when you read out those scenes. I cried the same way like I did when I read them. We as readers didn't deserve to witness this. I'm strongly convinced that Cassandra knew what she was doing and that she's sadistic. But those books are really beautiful nonetheless

I don´t understad how people says that Tessa didn't love Jem. Like, what did I read? Haha The love in this series is beautiful because it's not a typical love triangle. The point wasn't Tessa choosing beetween them, they ALL love eachother. I always thought of Will and Jem being two sides of the same soul and Tessa being their soulmate. They were meant to be together. It worked romanticly because Tessa was inmortal and all the stuff that Jem had to go through to survive...

I haven't read Clockwork Prince or Clockwork Princess yet, but I remember reading clockwork angel when I was 11 and literally crying. If an 11 yr old could like this book you can too (I'm not 11 anymore I'm older DW)

I have too many thoughts so I’ll just stick to two. One, Magnus bane is one of my favorite characters and I love his soft spot for Will. Two, I didn’t really like the first book bc Tessa is kind of unlikeable to me and in that one will is also extremely annoying pretending to be bad the entire book. But I’m glad I stuck with it bc truly this series was incredible!!

This series was so cliche, and annoying, I hate the love triangle. I really don't understand how people like this series. And, plus, the characters were sooooooo dull, striaght, boring. Personally, in my opinion, The Last Hours series is the best in the Shadowhunters universe.
