I'd love to see those two chapters working together, the level of stalwartness would be through the roof. Those are two loyalist chapters I think would see eye to eye on a lot of things

Imperium alone can't stop the Tyranids. Tyranids frighten even the Silent King. It'll take every other faction unifying to have any hope of stopping the Tyranids.

You think it's bad losing in the short-term just think about the long-term consequence. Nids probably have the Galaxy enveloped. After all the last hive fleet incursion came from below the solar plane.

At most, they have eaten one or part of one galaxy. More likely they got the boot and fled. Too easy to beat pure biological threat once technology reaches a certain point. Also, you might want to look into DNA nanomachines, and Glass with DNA scaffolding, and Bacteria that eats metal and plastic and DNA computers and electronic circuitry embedded into living worms, etc. before you assume that technology beats biology (and this is just primitive human knowledge, not anything on the scale of a galactic super intelligence such as the hive mind) In fact, Tyranids would have the advantage, as they can devour technology and metals, they can incorporate those things into their biology, surpassing what mere technology can do.

The fact I gave emphasis on one single ship should allow you to understand just how one sidedly OP they are. I didn't feel the need to add the Outer Galactic Lovecraftian Horror coming our way. Suddenly Wave of Gold spam doesn't feel so bad, lol.

Thier home is a living planet they are fleeing the reason Tryanids leave barren husks in their wake is this great enemy feeds on planets and the reason Tryanids absorbing new information is because they need to find a new form of Tyranid Capable of fighting this enemy and the galaxy is simply thier last defensive against thier home worlds intelligence it's a living planet with a conciusness
