@lucasgawor1059 it makes so that instead of your cpu having limited access to your gpu recources to having full access this makes it so the cpu and gpu communicate better with each other , it decreases latency and increases fps anywhere between 0%-45% , downside is that a lot of games don't support it or reduce performance instead of increasing it , the intel arc needs it on at all times to make it run properly

The fact Intel can even compete with AMD and Nvidia with a first gen is very astonishing. Even though the drivers aren't the best, they are less than 2 years old compared to both the others who have 20+ years of gpu experience.

most likely because they have been in the Iris and IntelHD APU laptop for a few years now along with AMD so it makes sense they'd know how to make a viable gpu

I've been using the Arc A770 for almost a month now. This card performs well in all latest titles to be honest, and even in dx11 titles when u turn down MSAA (only GTA V, other titles dont even need to turn down anti-aliasing) the card performs very well. There are minimal to almost no stutters most of the time. U wouldn't notice the difference between a similarly priced Nvidia or AMD card while playing until you turn on the fps counter. And also this card can run 4K pretty decent and give 30-60+fps even in new titles whereas the competing red and green cards would've run out of VRAM already.

Well you wouldn't notice the difference between most midrange GPUs if you turn off the FPS counter. The human eye is just not wired that way. But that doesn't mean it's the wrong way to test the potency of GPUs.

After four months of serious driver updates , the arc is an even better value. The last update gave my card a massive boost , especially to dx11

I have an AMD GPU and I use XeSS in cyberpunk because it doesn't have ghosting, it's actually pretty decent to use on all GPUs so I hope you try it out in other GPU benchmarks too!

I used two Bifrost A770s in builds this spring and I haven't had any problems with them. There were a couple of older games that wouldn't run but everything that does runs very well.

Excellent bought the rtx 2080 from evga and absolutely love it. I play world of warcraft and my frames normally are around 188fps without vsync but i like vsync so i hold perfect 120fps and very high settings (preset 8)

hello kryzzp i want ur help after booting up my pc it always starts without any icons only thing which i can see is my wallpaper and nothing else and whenever i press window key it makes my pc freeze i will tell you how it started so there was some voltage fluctuations in my house due to which the pc was constantly turning off and on and when it booted up again it was telling me that windows is updating and it got freezed at 96% for like 3 hours straight after then i didn't use my pc since many days and when i again switched on my pc it booted up without any icons or other stuffs is something wrong with windows explorer?

Intel has done some great work improving the drivers, honestly might upgrade my old 1660 with this as I need more vram.

@@Amariachiband Maybe, though I rather support a new GPU brand as this industry needs some serious competition, both AMD and Nvidia have gotten complacent with high pricing, making it more expensive for no reason other to squeeze more money out of the consumer. I'm also a content creator and would love to use intel's Av1 encoder, as its the cheapest way to get it. though I heard AMD has the best Av1 encoder which surprised me so I might check the used market for one. Anyways sorry for a long rant, I got hit by a car recently and got a brain injury so I'm just practicing typing again and making sure everything is ok.

Just to confirm, you had Rebar and above 4G decoding enabled? Didn't notice any mention about them, and they are super important with Arc GPUs.

I’m not sure but that first round in fortnite that crate that was opened with the weapons I’m pretty sure that was one I opened while playing on my gtx 1660 super which if you test with a Intel i7 2600k with 16gb of extra ram it’s stutternite at max until it fixes up overtime
