I noticed how some of the comments compared Steve or Blue’s Clues in general to Mister Rogers. And I can’t say that surprises me. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was actually an inspiration for Blue’s Clues in the first place and Mister Rogers himself liked it. (Not to mention he was one of the show creators’ mentor). Also, I love how Jon Batiste included that “Blue Skidoo” tune on his piano at the end. Such a nostalgic improvisation.

Perfect person to play it to, he grew up playing Sonic the Hedgehog music on piano to entertain himself and includes it on albums sometimes. You know, it wasn't until just now I realized how much I wanted a Jon Batiste album of video game and cartoon music - Sonic, all of Nintendo, hey Arnold, even mr Rogers even though it was a real life cartoon.

@@elathos fred rogers played in all the music on his show and wrote a lot of it - he played the piano, and much of what he wrote was very jazzy. i only realized later in my life that my love of piano and specifically jazz piano probably started because of him. he was such an amazing man in so many ways. i ended up buying a couple of his albums which are still available from the mr. rogers foundation i think!
