I noticed you did a reaction compilation for Smash Bros’ Minecraft Steve gameplay overview, but not the initial reveal trailer. Well you actually did but it’s only a short 3 minute video that didn’t win as much from the algorithm as these three videos. Is it possible that you can do an reaction compilation of that trailer that goes into the same depth as these three videos at some point?

Charlie has some good comedic timing and I feel he could lend well to Luigi’s awkwardness. If you want an idea of his work, I’d suggest either Always Sunny in Philadelphia or Horrible Bosses (preferably the former)

I've seen so many meme clips by now that I honestly feel that the cast is a great choice. (Especially Charlie as Luigi) And I feel like people don't stop to maybe think about why Charles doesn't voice Mario. Mario usually doesn't talk a lot and from what I've heard doing the voice for the Mario characters ruins his throat. They also specifically mentioned in the Direct that Mario will talk a lot, so it kinda makes sense (though I can understand not thinking about that in the moment)

Exactly what I have been thinking after awhile. It is best to sometimes expect the unexpected when the voices are in action. Plus Nintendo is very protective of their stuff so I find it hard to believe that they would fuck up voice acting. Kinda sucks that people who dunno some of those actors well, will ofcourse have doubts until the time comes.

Besides, lets not forget that Charles isn't 30 anymore. Doing voices for one animated character alone is pretty exhausting. And he would have to do 3-4? Also be realistic people: Listening to Charles for short clips, 10-30secs is totally fine. But 90-100mins?

Seeing how Miyamoto was around when the 90s live action movie came out, I can imagine he definitely want to make sure Mario is done right. I am willing to give Chris Pratt and this movie a chance since Nintendo IS involved, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wary either because this IS Hollywood we're talking about and I haven't trusted what they have come up with in ages.

Yeah, Charles is getting on in years. He’s wonderful, but only human. I’m sure this cameo is something like Wario, so it’s good at least to have him. Let’s cut Chris and co some slack. I’m giving Miyamoto the benefit of the doubt. He’s made questionable decisions before, but I’m sure things will be fine.

Now that I think about Chris Pratt, it oddly makes a LOT of sense.... He played as Starlord in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and the upcoming Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will have Mario using his new weapons: The two blaster guns. And what exactly does Starlord have? A kind of blaster guns. And the adventure takes place in the galaxy...^^; So yeah....!

I’m in between indifferent and in love with this cast, but boy am I glad Yoshi didn’t get a voice actor here. I much prefer him having his typical adorable sound effects, rather than being voiced by, I dunno, Tim Allen or something. Although I might be able to trust Rob Paulsen as Yoshi (the voice behind Yakko, Pinky, Carl Wheezer, Donatello, Raphael, etc.).

What I'm thinking, based off something Andre Meadows (aka Black Nerd Comedy) said, perhaps both Chris and Charles are Mario, with the former playing an older Mario and Charles is the same way as normal and the movie's told in flashback. Or! Or Charles could be baby Mario in a flashback since he's doing "surprise cameos"

5:25 yes they have the original voice but you do know they said he will be talking a lot meaning the original mario voice actor would not be able to make the voices for new up in coming games and the original voice having to do all of the voices he usually does means they will have to pay him a lot a whole lot and he will be working extra hard like straining his voice hard
