Aside from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake, this is my most anticipated games of this direct. I'm so happy Peach got another game after waiting for over 15 years and hopefully this will lead to Peach's more personality and gameplay wise.

@@hazelbagels024 Yeah, when remakes are done well it's good, like the one for Link's Awakening on the Switch, having more than 2 buttons made it vastly better, even Remasters can be good if it's like Metroid Prime where they update the controls to a modern FPS style.

@@deondrex18k ya'll complain Nintendo barely do remakes, but when they finally do, you all complain. Not to mention, getting a remake from NINTENDO isn't as common as you think. Most of the Switch library, and come to think about it in general (some ports, but we're talking about straight up remakes) are brand new games, literally most of the Switches life were new games, and now they're giving us remakes and suddenly "ugh, ANOTHER remake?" Completely ignoring that it isn't and also they are remakes to games fans have LITERALLY been requesting for years. And when I say Nintendo I mean the first party stuff like Mario and stuff. The last major one I remember was Super Mario 64 DS, and maybe there was another, idk

I just made the connection that she’s called Grape 🍇 (and the Sour Bunch) because she’s the villain for Peach. 🍑 …Very clever, Nintendo. 👏👏👏 Also, this might be the most creative Mario game Nintendo has ever done. There’s 2D stuff, 3D stuff, minigames, Professor Layton mysteries, and even a Street Fighter-esque fight! I’m also very happy to see how many people are excited for this game. I 100%-ed Super Princess Peach, and all of this makes me so happy to see. (Also, I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks Peach is so hot in that Swordfighter outfit. ❤)

I believe that both this and the others from those past directs were pretty much leftovers from Super Mario Bros' 35th anniversary that was supposed to be very huge until the covid-19 pandemic ruined their plans and caused these games to be delayed until this year and next.
