The Internship is a short film about race, class and privilege within the creative industries. It follows Josh, a young design graduate working in a dead end job has a chance meeting with his idol, a famous design magazine editor who offers him a rare and prestigious internship. However, he must convince a family to who internships mean an extra financial burden, and in an industry in which their culture has never really been well represented; that it’s a chance worth taking.

Favourite line "Great to see we have such a diverse readership" the connotation behind that line hit really deep. Congratulations Aaron, been following the journey via Instagram and very happy to finally see the end product! Only criticism is felt as though the dialogue between the Father and Josh could've hit a bit deeper. Either way, excited to see what you create next! Would love to potentially collab one day too.

Great video. So many messages. Seize the opportunities when they come. Think big. And be part of something. I love the famous sports quote: "You miss 100% of the shots you never take" .... take your shot. And if you miss, shoot again. 👍👍👍
