For the longest time na nanonood ako ng movies, ngayon ko lang nalaman na ang laki pala ng ambag ni madam Imee sa movie industry. This interview deserves part 2, kudos kuya Boy at nabigyang daan ang side ng mga Marcoses. I never knew she was involved in Film Industry and even in Theatricals way back then and made such huge contribution. This interview is really an eye opener. Being portrayed as a family of Antagonist for more than 3 decades and have their mouth be sealed I guess it's about time their side of the story be told.

Napakatalino ng mga Marcoses. And sa lahat ng interviews na napanuod ko, I see their sincerity, their kind hearts and passion to help the Filipinos. I will never understand why people are hating them. When Imee said “nasanay na kami” is heartbreaking. And I think it’s about time for them to tell their story. I will always root for the Marcoses ❤️

Hindi ako mag disagree sa sinabi mong "their kind hearts", totoo yan. Kaya lang iba ang tatay nilang si F.E. Marcos. Noong una, OO mabait at idealism si F.E. Marcos, pero ng tumagal na sa pwesto maging president, nagbago bigla lalo na nang mag proclaim siya ng Martial law. Nakita niya na very powerful pala ang isang president at pwedeng gawin ano mang gustuhin nila. At doon nag umpisa ang pang aabuso sa Human Rights ng tao. At ginawang purse nilang pamilya ang pera ng bayan at nakawin to the bone ang pera ng taong bayan... Yong pagiging mabait ni Imee Marcos, wala akong masasabi sa kanya, kung ano ang nakikita ninyo sa kanya ngayon yon siya. Kung sana hindi siya anak ni F.E. Marcos, idol na idol ko siya...

@Craig Howat 22 yrs old ako nun nasa college...anhirap nuon bilang estudiante...walang programa ang gobyerno ni cory sa mga estudiante...pag ako ay umuuwi ng probinsya sa may lawton naranasan ko lumusot sa bintana ng bus para makasakay lang...ang daming rally nuon sa kalsada lalo na ang LFS.. tas laging may boycot pa sa mga kumpanya...ang mga basura sa kalye hindi nakokolekta kaya napaka-dugyot ng manila nuon...tas daming awayan pa ng mga frat nung araw...naranasan ko pa nuon na nahablutan ng rayban habang nasa unahan ako ng jeep sa may espana...hay! basta magulo nung araw!

Ms. Imee is intelligent. It's really nice to hear from her na she still remember yung opening ng Metropolitan Theater with "Isang Munting Alamat" wherein ang aking anak played one of the lead role. Napakagandang makita (post election) na she's reaching at nagpapasalamat sa taongbayan as big sister in behalf of kapatid na PBBM. Mararamdaman sa pamilya Marcos na hindi sila haters. Dalangin kong maging successful si PBBM sa pagpapalakad sa gobyerno ng Pilipinas at nawa'y makamit ang economic prosperity na inaasam asam ng bawat Filipino. GOD BLESS PO PBBM.🙏

On top of people wanting to see a dramatization of a real life person, biopics require actors to more or less “be” the real life individual, which can prove to be a challenge. As a result, it can be very impressive to see how an actor pulls off being so much like the real life subject. **RUFFA GUTIERREZ, CESAR MONTANO, CRISTINE REYES, ELLA CRUZ, DIEGO LOYZAGA, AND EVEN THE ACTRESS AS "CORY AQUINO", ETC. DID THEIR PART MAGNIFICENTLY. IT IS LIKE A "GREAT WORK OF ART"!!!** This success can also bring with it awards, which many biopics receive. Regardless of the plot’s quality, the main draw for a biopic movies is often the acting, which ends up either being the most notable part **IN THIS MOVIE, "MAID IN MALACANANG"!**

True stories are some of the most desirable types of stories in the film industry - second only to those based on Intellectual Property. But what are the dynamics of telling a true story? And how much freedom are you, the screenwriter, allowed when it comes to taking creative liberties within those stories? If you are writing a movie that is Based on a True Story, the expectations are that the characters, storylines, and a majority of the scenes that you present within the script are primarily based on actual occurrences. There are creative liberties taken for sure, but most of the depictions within the script are based on what actually happened and how it happened. Films like Schindler’s List, The Right Stuff, Lincoln, 127 Hours, and Apollo 13 are excellent examples of screenplays that did their best to depict the actual true stories. The writers and filmmakers went to great degrees to capture the truth, allowing creative liberties to be taken within: 1. The dialogue 2. The combining of real-life people for cinematic amalgams 3. The sequence of events 4. The exclusion of events and people that were part of the real-life story. This is all done to portray the true story within the confines of a cinematic medium. Overall, the story presented in the movie or series is as close to what really happened in real life as possible while allowing the screenwriter to structure a cinematic, dramatic, and compelling narrative. That is what sets this type of film or series apart from a documentary series.

From the "teaser" ... to the "trailer" ... and to the message of "Ella Cruz/Irene Marcos" to the message of "Cristine Reyes/Imee Marcos" .. without any doubt that "Maid In Malacanang" will be lauded as one of cinema’s masterpieces, and will be creating an epic film based on "true story". "Maid In Malacanang" will create a "screen magic" and will be hailed as an instant classic from the moment it is shown in theaters on August 03, 2022. Far more than that, it will also change cinema.

This interview tells so much, not just about the Film Industry, but on how the Marcoses experienced the situation back then. Their pain and exhaustion to explain themselves got used as an advantage to get what it is today. Sen. Imee is so intelligent that you can see she isn't hiding anything from her stories because of how she talks and the accuracy of her words.

Just watched Maid in Malacanang yesterday. Contrary to the claim that there is historical revisionism, it was simply a portrayal of what was happening inside the palace during their last days in it. I also appreciate that they included video clips of actual events that occurred.
