I would really like to give Brandon Sanderson a try one of these days as well as those Robb Hobb chunkers and eventually I know I will! Dune is on my list for this summer - I started it October , then set it down, bit after seeing the movie, I really want to try it again. Great answers to the tag and I hope you’re having a great reading month so far!

Robin Hobb is maybe my favourite fantasy author, I believe there are graphic novel versions out there of at least some of the books as well which I need to pick up

Hello friend, Very interesting tag. very tough though at the same time. I have to admit you do pick some good book covers, and I might re read kiju just because I feel like I missed something. but I know what you mean. Thank you for the mention friend and I really enjoyed this video :)

I enjoyed your responses to the tag! Classic Lit can be tough and Shirley Jackson has been a hit and a miss for me. Even as a horror reader, I really want to pick up Brandon Sanderson one day. Old Man's War is on my tbr, just such an intriguing premise.

I think going forward I am going to stick with audio of classic lit, it just seems to stick better. I loved Old Mans War as its main focus was the character, book 2 was a very different beast but was still really good, just not in the same way. Thanks for dropping in buddy

Thanks for dropping by, I liked this tag a lot. I got lucky with the intro as preloaded in my editing software, just needed to change the text and was good to go

I had to check which one that was, the longer I think on my review of C&R the more I think I was too generous. I am planning to do a live tier list soon if this years reads, so we shall see

This is a difficult tag, awesome answers! Harry Potter but for adults?! I’m here for it, but I’ve been lied to a lot so I’m gonna wait for to it thoughts on it first to see if it lives up to advertising 😂 You’re not the only one, I’ve bought books out of order without realizing it too 😅 you’ve got quite a few heavy reads on there. You sound like me with IT. I think about it then go uhn uh, too big! 😂 Oh that is a beautiful cover! And the title sounds intriguing as well! But romance? 🤮 Awesome video Ven!! 😊

You know what Stephen King books would have fitted the tag as well if not better than ham Dune thinking about it. Romance was a new thing for me last year, it works for me better when it's adjacent to the story rather than the focus lol

@@vens_book_corner Stephen king is a big boy with a lot of old chunksters! Yes! I can handle romance so long as it’s accidentally part of the story! I read a ton of urban fantasy and it always ends up with romance a couple books in, but it never takes place over all the action and snark that I picked the series up for in the first place.

Hi. Enjoyed Wheel of Time series. Got tired of waiting for Prime series so read all the books 😎 Blood Root sounds interesting. Dune was an amazing read the first time decades ago. I have been planning to start this week but keep putting it off because it is huge and I have the next two in the series as well. May put it off for a month or two as several others waiting. Great video 👍

Dune is just a lot, yet to see the movies. I may go into the audio when I 'reread" WoT as I know the actress who plays Moraine is doing an updated narration and I really enjoyed it for book 1, thanks for dropping in 🙏

@@vens_book_corner my pleasure came over and subbed after the live stream Friday 😎 I enjoyed the Dune movies 👍 haven’t seen the newest one yet. Wot would be a super long audio, I have paperbacks may reread some day.
