Just for accuracy: the vinigar is added after fermentation during processing. The sauce ferments and ages in wooden barrels. Then vinigar is added. Otherwise the vinigar supresses the lacto bacterials growth and thats that ^^

Fun fact: there are more pyramids in Sudan than Egypt. A common misconception because while the Egyptians built them most of them are on sudanese territory because ancient Egypt stretched a long way down into modern day Sudan. Pls read the comment down below which explains the real reason. Mine was wrong

It’s not because the ancient Egyptians stretched down into Sudan, it’s because Sudan has its own ancient empire the Nubians who built smaller but much more pyramids than the Egyptians to the North. Although ancient Egypt did conquer Nubia, the opposite also happened so it’s not due to that. If you’re gonna say a fun fact at least get it right…

A big reason it has become to popular in the modern era is quite simple really. In WW2 food was commonly bland and revolting to taste. Tabasco was a standard condiment for the soldiers, and the hot sauce made the food edible.

It happened for like 4 weeks and I stopped when the bottles where put in the cupboard😂😂
