Many of today's ideas regarding angels are filled with cultural theology that is unbiblical and wrong.
Every single angel was individually created by God. They have intellect, emotions, and will.
Angels are personal spiritual beings who have intelligence, emotions, and will. This is true of both the good and evil angels (demons). Angels possess intelligence (Matthew 8:29; 2 Corinthians 11:3; 1 Peter 1:12), show emotion (Luke 2:13; James 2:19; Revelation 12:17), and exercise will (Luke 8:28-31; 2 Timothy 2:26; Jude 6). Angels are spirit beings (Hebrews 1:14) without true physical bodies. Although they do not have physical bodies, they are still personalities.
Though they have wills, angels, like all creatures, are subject to the will of God. Good angels are sent by God to help believers (Hebrews 1:14). Here are some activities the Bible ascribes to angels:
They praise God (Psalm 148:1-2; Isaiah 6:3). They worship God (Hebrews 1:6; Revelation 5:8-13). They rejoice in what God does (Job 38:6-7). They serve God (Psalm 103:20; Revelation 22:9). They appear before God (Job 1:6; 2:1). They are instruments of God's judgments (Revelation 7:1; 8:2). They bring answers to prayer (Acts 12:5-10). They aid in winning people to Christ (Acts 8:26; 10:3). They observe Christian order, work, and suffering (1 Corinthians 4:9; 11:10; Ephesians 3:10; 1 Peter 1:12). They encourage in times of danger (Acts 27:23-24). They care for the righteous at the time of death (Luke 16:22).
Angels are an entirely different order of being than humans. Human beings do not become angels after they die. Angels will never become, and never were, human beings. God created the angels, just as He created humanity. The Bible nowhere states that angels are created in the image and likeness of God, as humans are (Genesis 1:26). Angels are spiritual beings that can, to a certain degree, take on physical form. Humans are primarily physical beings, but with a spiritual aspect. The greatest thing we can learn from the holy angels is their instant, unquestioning obedience to God's commands.

I love the sound of his voice and the way he enunciated his words. It makes it easier to pay attention. I saw 2 angels one said " never fear my dear " I was a new christian at this time 34 years ago. I was terrified that I might do something to lose my salvation and he walked right by me and when I heard that by the time it registered he was gone. Ofcourse now I realize different about salvation.

God Bless you Dr Lutzer my brother in Christ i was so full of strength and joy when i heard this so much needed in my life words of truth and teaching . Thank you for opening my heart more to The Good Lords truth about the two cities i will be definitley be listening to these messages more than once until i developed huge spiritual muscles . What about the fact of us being spirits with a human over oat, we are here to worship the power of God and his creation. When people pass they find out the full Glory God, Kingdom, the Spirit world we are pure Spirit in perpetuity always have been and always will.

Satan is a spirit like God so Satan MUST work through people as God MUST work through people. This is why anyone with any background in religion knows that Satan's greatest trick was He convinced the world that He doesn't exist. Being a spirit, like God is a spirit, Satan has the power to influence people's thinking into sinning and doing Satan's evil tasks. The reason why Satan doesn't bother most people is because Satan already knows that He has most people after they die due to people's thirst for money, materialism, greed, and power. Satan is only concerned for those who are a threat to Satan and these are the people who have become spiritually awaken and have joined God's army in this unseen spiritual battle against Satan that is taking place all around us as the Bible clearly states. The invisible world is REAL but you can ONLY access the invisible world if you are willing to freely give up most of your money and material possessions which will give God the go ahead to "spiritually awaken" you and take full control of your life giving you what you need when you need it (which is also clearly stated in the Bible as well). Since God is an omnipotent being God knows and sees "everything" you do out of unconditional generosity. Those who God makes "spiritually aware" (Born Again Christians?) are those who WILL also be granted access to Heaven's gates after their time is finished on earth. Eternity in Heaven is an extraordinary place and gift from God which requires those who want to be with God to make extraordinary sacrifices while they are here on earth. People are NOT humans with a spirit within a human body but rather people are REALLY eternal spirits inside a temporary human body, just as the Bible indicates. Jesus also said that "the way to the Father is through me" and since the Bible is a guidebook made for the "LIVING" there is no indication that this passage that Jesus spoke of was meant for those who are on their way to Heaven. "The way to the Father is through me" is a passage that is meant for the living and how to access God while they are still alive and living here on earth. This is also why the Bible talks about spiritual warfare and the spiritual battle that is taking place all around us and putting on God's shield of Armour and using prayer to assist God in helping God fight Satan and his fallen angels on earth. Since the Bible is word of God and people are God's children and God is "PERFECT" and incapable of telling lies and untruths, then we have to assume that what the Bible is telling us is 100% REAL about Satan, spiritual warfare, Heaven, Hell, angels, demons, giving, helping the poor, not holding onto to money, materialism, greed, sin, and repenting before a person dies..... Does this make sense????? Anyone who studies the Bible has to study the Bible in such a way as to ask "Why was the Bible written in the first place?" Everything in the Bible has to make complete sense to the living as once we are dead the Bible is useless to the dead. Therefore all the information contained in the Bible must pertain to the "living" and be used while we are still alive if we are to be given access to God and this unseen spiritual world around us and Heaven after we die. If you want to know the REAL truth then DO what Jesus told his followers to do as actual "DOING" changes the world. Believing in Jesus is good for your own salvation but remember everything that God has done in the Bible is directly related to God helping people DO (accomplish) something to help save his children.

I don't see in Psalm 145 where God created the angels. Was that a misquote by Dr. Lutzer?

Psalm 145: 9. Exposition on Psalm 145 ( Expositions on the Psalms (Augustine) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let all Your works, O Lord, confess to You, and let Your saints bless You Psalm 144:10. How so? Is not the earth His work? Are not the trees His work? Cattle, beasts, fish, fowl, are not they His works? Plainly they too are. And how shall these too confess to Him? I see indeed in the angels that His works confess to Him, for the angels are His works: and men are His works; and when men confess to Him, His works confess to Him; but have trees and stones the voice of confession? Yes, verily; let all His works confess to Him. What do you say? Even the earth and the trees?...But there arises the same question in regard of praise, as in regard of confession. For if earth and all things devoid of sensation therefore cannot confess, because they have no voice to confess with; neither will they be able to praise, because they have no voice to proclaim with. This framework of creation, this most perfectly ordered beauty, ascending from lowest to highest, descending from highest to lowest, never broken, but tempered together of things unlike, all praises God. Wherefore then does all praise God? Because when you consider it, and see its beauty, thou in it praisest God. The beauty of the earth is a kind of voice of the dumb earth....And this which you have found in it, is the very voice of its confession, that you praise the Creator. When you have thought on the universal beauty of this world, does not its very beauty as it were with one voice answer you, I made not myself, God made me?

SANTHOSH VARGHESE Psalm 145:9...I am from Denmark. In my Danish Bible ... psalm 145, here is nothing about angels. And in my King James Bible psalm 145:9 : nothing about angels. Why?
