Rodtang lost that one. Puric fought him well and had good footwork. You can't argue with him not fighting Rodtang's fight and he got some damn good shots in many times. I don't understand people saying that he was trying not to lose. He was fighting his style and di pretty damn well against Rodtang. Are you going to be a meathead and sit there and trade with Rodtang? No. It reminds me of MMA-Light fans only wanting to see knockouts and not respecting jujitsu, strategy or other styles of winning. I can understand if the guy was just running but he was trading and throwing Rodtang down. He simply ducked a ton of Rodtang's kicks and punches. Smart.

This Rodtang's toughest challenge? Can someone explain why? Goncalves is just running, hugging and countering. The counters are good but as soon as it stops, Goncalves is knocked down easy and clipped.

that was a very close call but you don't have to be upset for losing because you gave him more of a fight then he has ever had, you are right on his heels of taking away his championship you fighting skills are right up to par, I will be a bit surprised which some more training slap him down for good awesome

It's much easier to back up, wait for opponent to come, and counter than to push the whole time. His fighting skills are not as good as Rodtang.

@@JustinCosgrove-we4lk I don't think that Rodtang was that much better, yes he was a little better and that's why you want. But this guy is the most closest I have seen on taking him down, he is not far behind him. Maybe with another workout will be able to knock him out, fighting is very straight and less there is a big massive difference the fight can go either way with just one punch. And he did get in a few of them, sometimes that's all it takes.

All these contact sports are a test off ability also mental strategies, i honesty cannot believe the judges are so single minded they wet their pants watching RodTang’s bravado when his fight with such a intellectually wiser opponent who showed as much contact with solid results allows the judges to make unfair decisions. At minimum this was a draw, never a unanimous win for Rodtang…..

Muay Thai is not the sport for Goncalves. Running backwards the whole fight is never gonna get you a win against top level fighters. He should be embarrassed running away the whole fight like that refusing to engage. Then at the end thinking he was gonna get the decision. Lol
