yeah, the sound is weird as babu and fits much better later on but like you said, the stance looks great and the attack offers more depth to stego fights. both, as and against (I guess) the mutation is broken for stego. but, they said from start on that the mutations are maxed out for testing reasons. so, they will pretty likely smoothen it down. they have to. at least this mutation for stego in particular

I don't know. I wasn't even adult and it already did cost MANY stam in the end. I ain't sure if it is THAT useful vs a pack of smaller ones. it's probably designed for bigger opponents. ain't sure tho, didn't play enough to have a ready opinion

the centrifugal forces are becoming stronger for the attacker as more heavy it is, that's true and that's why bigger omnis lose stam quicker than little ones. BUT, you personally get less exhausted with less weight. just grab 1kg weight and shake your hand for a minute and then try again with a 10kg weight. I bet you won't be able to even shake it the same way with 10kg for a whole minute. less weight = less exhausting.

thx mate ♥ many people never understood stego. it's already weak vs good packs (which are rare tho) and designed to face bigger opponents as well. some want to 1vs1 it with a tiny omni tho or take it down even if two third of your pack doesn't know how to play I guess you will enjoy it. in general, I like the update. don't know much about grabbling by now, but, even if it is too strong, it will be further adapted. the idea behind sounds great tho. I want to play omni later that day. we'll see

@@da.mombie You said it right! TBH, we aren’t a stego player, I haven’t even played it since it isn’t our style, but with the new series we are thinking of making we might be forced to play it here or there😆 We’ll see. I enjoyed fighting it not being in its skin🤣🤣🤣

in my opinion a good pack of omnis, dilos and ceras are a huge threat to anything incl. stego. in reality tho, you barely meet good packs. mostly you meet a pack with one or two good players and 3-4 random berserkers who often die quickly. which mostly demotivates the few good players in the pack to keep going

thx mate ♥ yeah, I loved the beach scene too. was like in a documentary yeah, I got the yellow one. which was the first who pounced me there. another (red one) omni pounced me too and jumped off again. that's why it looks a little confusing I enjoy to fight and specially with new attacks it's quiet fun to mess around. but, honestly, I also can't wait to nest again or be nested and have fun with siblings

I love the mutations. some have to be further adapted, but, like you said, they add depth to the game and fit certain dino's very well I hope you will have a good update when you come back. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it. well, as long as it isn't at one of the more bad updates we get in between. specially in terms of server performance. it still goes up and down with each update in general it made quiet some progress tho

thx ♥ the stam mutation is really hardcore. that's too much, even for me. beside that tho, stego is fine imo. a good pack can already take you down pretty quickly. there are just less good packs around anyway tho, stego weighs more than 10 times as much as a omni. more than twice as much as carno and three times as much as cera. it should be powerful and hard to take down. as soon as predators of it's size (like rex) enter the game, it won't be as powerful anymore anyway. much more deino was always too weak for me. it should have had 1000 bite force imo. no stego would be brave nearby the water if a deino hits with 1000 bite force and 2000 to the head

honestly, I ain't even familiar with the grabble mechanic yet I wanted to play omni, but I have some troubles with my PC. the water pump is broken and so it gets pretty hot after a while which leads to frame drops. I can't even provide a video tomorrow. because I can't fix it before monday

it does cost stam, but, someone told me you can swing even without stam now. that's weird and shouldn't be the case imo

but only in the water. they added this in the horde test. on land a deino can grab half of it's weight (so a stego until 4 tons), but in the water it can grab prey of it's own weight or at least enough to grab a 6 ton stego, too.

taco I really miss it's calls on the isle but, it's shown on omni's diet. so, it might arrive soon anyway

the first mutation drains the stam of the one who pounces you 20% faster. well, I didn't notice much there either. but, the second mutation gave me stam for damage they did to me. so, every time they hit me, I got stam back. which you can see very well in the last battle

dibble is new on the horde test. right now we have 16 dinos out of 65 or so. so plenty are yet to come. the isle is a nice game, but still alpha. it has many bugs and often a bad server performance in some updates in between. it also will take many more years before it will be finished. personally I don't have a problem with bugs and a lot of alpha experience. so, I don't mind that much. but, some people who don't have alpha experience and expect a ready game can get frustrated pretty quickly. I just want to warn you. but, if you don't mind bugs and development problems on the road, then I can highly recommend it

I have the 3080, which does a pretty good job so far. I barely have troubles with FPS. that said, in certain moments they aren't stable at 60 on the horde test. like sunset, too many players around, or during a storm sometimes. that's something I didn't experience with the last (actual) regular update.

@@StelloTyrannus kind of. the 80 is about 15% faster as the 70 and has 2 GB more video memory. so, they are pretty close and yet about 10-20 frames different. depending on the rest of your system. like RAM and CPU. do you have troubles everywhere of just south?

it's very weird. when you watch my first stego vids, the walking sound was way more powerful. but, even dilo seems louder than stego when it runs. also cera feels much louder/heavier. that's really strange

it isn't in my opinion. it's just more than twice or even 10 times (omni) the size of it's predators. as soon as a predator of it's size (like rex) is in the game, it will have a hard time. that said, it already has a hard time vs good packs of omnis, dilos and ceras. but, those good packs are rare

I got attacked by a cera, he knew how to bait and kite, I ran out of stamina, we fought for 10 minutes at least when I kinda gave up, you can overwhelm a stego if not adult rather easily, after it matures its kinda hard to kill but because their natural enemies are missing, when the allo comes they will be feeling the threat again

Not sure how allo would fare against a full grown stego. It seems like they made that new attack to counter apex carnivores like rex. Maybe an allo pack would have a chance.

@@gianferdinandtorres2721 after all it depends on skills. there are cera players out there who easily take down an average stego player in a 1vs1. these kind of players will also be able to 1vs1 stego as allo.

Charging attacks is not something unique to path of titans, a lot of games have it. It is one of the basic attacks that almost every game has.

yeah, south plains is really bad at the moment omni will get nerfed again. you should know it, it's a constant up and down it's weird that you can swing without stam. that shouldn't be the case imo and will hopefully be fix sry mate, but they owe you (us) nothing and even less a playable version. it's alpha. period. crashes, bugs, unstable servers and broken features are all part of alpha development. I respect you as someone who often makes good points and has his own opinion. which I appreciate. I also totally understand that those situations annoy you and your friends. but, the devs aren't there to please you and give you the best possibel experience. they are there to develop the game. which they do. incl. all the ups and downs that come along during this process. in fact they are just trying to expand the server slots. something many people are crying for for quite some time. it doesn't work out properly right away. so what? you never know and you never find the bottle necks if you don't try. if it reaches a point where someone thinks it is unplayable, then this (or even many) person(s) should just stop playing it. that simple. but, the devs have to think bigger and try different things for the long run. even if it makes the game worse at first or in between.

By definition, " An early access game is a game that is still in development but is playable enough for a group of players to test." Even Steam's definition says it's a playable game. So yes, they owe us a playable game. I gave them money in exchange for being able to play their game while they developed it. Both sides agree to the deal. If not, then why would anyone ever buy an early-access game? I know how nice you are, so you think they don't owe us, and I know you love this game, but in my honest opinion, you give them too much leeway. I'm not saying it should be bug-free, with zero glitches and no crashes. That's expected in early-access games. I don't care that Omni's grapple is OP, what weight the dibbles are, what mutations there are, etc. I signed up for those things by agreeing to early access. We're borderline unplayable right now, and I think we crossed the border. Yes, technically, it's playable if you can even get into the game with the new bug and I want to walk around and eat plants or eat AI. However, the big selling point of this game is that you can fight other dinos. You cannot do that now. It's not just south plains. I was on the beach trying to fight a dibble, and nobody could hit each other. We fought some carnos in highlands; nobody could kill the other because we were all over the place. If two or three people are fighting and they're the only ones there, it still teleports, but not as bad, so it is possible to play if you run into that rare occasion. But the game is about sociability. It has huge pack limits, they want big herds walking together, etc. Once that happens, it's unplayable again. If your game crashes and you're waiting in a queue that will kick you or say data acquisition failed, that is unplayable. There will be bugs, crashes, etc, but it must maintain some playability. I don't think you disagree with my points. I think the only thing you disagreed with is that the devs owe us a playable game, and according to every definition, including the warning you get before you buy an early-access game, it is a playable game under development. People will quit playing it, but that doesn't fix anything. That's like saying, just don't use it, to a person who bought a TV and now it doesn't work.

@@ScottM436 sry, but they owe us nothing at all. even if they quitt the game tomorrow, there is nothing you can do about it. that's alpha and part of the deal. steam says you can play. well, you can play. that simple. that's all they owe you (or what they owe steam in fact ). there is no part in that deal which explains what playable means. not at all. unplayable is also no certified definition. the opposite, it is a very flexible term. in fact, the bonus for us is the low price. that's pretty much all. nothing else. in return we accept that the project can even fail. everything between is imagination at best. no matter what you think is playable or not, there is nothing you can do about it. I mean, you can try to sue them, but I don't think you will have much of a chance. after all it's a business and our part in that deal hasn't much to demand at all. even if we love to think so. we love to think we are important. but we aren't. like I said, they can quitt tomorrow and there is nothing you can do about it. many never completed alpha games testify to my words I love our respectful discussions too by the way
