Nothing has changed. The industry has dictated the music trends. It's also up to the artists. Every decade seems to say that men in prior decades weren't afraid to express themselves, especially 1970s R&B music. Again, nothing has changed. It depends on if artists and producers choose to create that type of music. absolutely phenomenal. Ron Isley did this. I drive 18 wheelers...from Houston to Dallas. One particular day, I listened to this song for 2.5 hours. This song has so much meaning. It reminds me of the passing of my grandmother. Annie Whitsey (my grandmother), is sleeping the long sleep. May the Lord Jesus Christ rest her soul. Isley, just simply beautiful.

I remember listening to this beautiful song the day my husband was shipped off for a two year tour in Egypt we had just got married. I played this song all the way back to my home in Geneva Ga, I cried all the way back home in Georgia from North Carolina. I’m so glad GOD brought him back home to me safely, this song is always in my play list on January 10 2022 we have been married for 25 years and we are still in love with each other. I want to say RIP to my Grandmother. She died a few years ago and it seems like it happened yesterday. Her death tore the family apart. She was the glue that held us together and I seen it coming before she passed and I even told her when the sand runs out of her hourglass the family will go their separate ways.
