I think it would be cool to add something with the criminal bounties, sort of "Wanted Dead or Alive" but killing a criminal as a cop gives a smaller amount of the bounty instead of the full bounty to try and discourage cops from just killing everyone. I also think that "dead or alive" system should kick in only with higher bounties (such as when bounty is high enough to respawn you in maximum security prison), as to prevent cops from just slaughtering noobs for the "dead" side of "dead or alive"

As a criminal main.. I agree with all of this. And I would play cop team more if it was better.

I think for money earning i have an idea: Missions Its similar to robbery and contracts, for example: - Refueling the power plant It can be some sort of puzzles or parkour (or both) to restore the power plant. - Protecting the cargo ship Have a loading dock for the cargo ship somewhere along the map, the cop will take control of a cannon in the ship while the crims are grabbing crate, if they shot down a heli with the cannon then the cop will get money like how cops can deliver crates by dropping it into the ocean. But something like 2000 or more. - Helping small stores Cops can help stores to refill their stock or smth to get extra money Now here comes my second idea that ties with the first idea: Honors By doing these Missions, the cops Honors will increase similar to a bounty. With the Honors, the cop will get a higher paycheck and maybe increase the rewards from arresting criminals, for example if your honor is big, rewards for arresting can go up to 1k.

Another problem with the cop team is the current "good arrest" section from the paycheck system. I have no idea why it resets as soon as you oof, just the other day I arrested 6 bounty players before randomly dying a few seconds before 5:00AM (Which is when paychecks are released) and get nothing. As for the swat, the swat pistol should be an optional weapon instead of being always stuck with it, and it should have unique stats compared to the normal. Although I doubt this will get implemented, I came up with my own stats: Damage: 20 Fire rate: same as the old revolver Mag size: 12 Reload: ~2.5 seconds Speaking of swat, the gamepass description itself is false: "Earn 20% more money!" - there is no difference in what you earn, and there is endless proof if you check anyone who DOES own the gamepass. Apparently you're also less visible on the map, but I've never been able to tell the difference.

I actually main cop but I always have to play crim for ANYTHING good, which I find annoying as the main way to get money for crim is to do overglorified obbies that are called robberies if cop gave its own variant of hyperchrome, and good money I wouldn't have to play crim, yet crim mains have the luxury of rarely ever having to play cop, usually only if you wanna do contracts.

for the bounty issue maybe they should make it if your bounty is a decent amount and you die you lose like a percentage of it instead of the losing the whole bounty

As someone who always plays on the cop team, I strongly agree with all of this. Although, the rare times I do play criminal team, I noticed that cop can very easily sneak up on you and whenever they are in close range, you are guaranteed to be screwed.

Hi, cop only player and (self proclaimed) jailbreak kinda-expert here.. This is probably the best, or one of the best jailbreak videos I’ve ever seen, period. Your points, and solutions are very constructive and you even acknowledge that your ideas might have flaws! You have a very clear and informative format here, detailing the changes very well. I always viewed jailbreak’s balances as.. ‘criminals have more risk, but more reward. Harder team, but more money- cops have less risk, less reward. Easier team, but less money’. Even though I am exclusively a cop player, and am fine with the money we make, I actually think every money related point you made was excellent and should be apart of the game. I suppose my view was changed. You are right, cops should have more reward and incentive, there is no good reason for criminal’s bounties to be removed when they die. All it does is hurt the cop team. The paycheck system idea is nice, but I think that would be a little too much for the cop team. I think at the end of the day, the cop team should still get less money- but the monetary difference between the two teams should not be nearly as big as it currently is. Note: my opinions here may be biased, as I have earned ≈50 million as a cop, and use very different strategies than most players would on the team. Maybe these changes will have more benefit to people at a different skill level than me, so my point of view could be skewed in that way. When they proposed those vehicles for season 13, I saw the motorcycle and thought they should add it as a extremely rare prize from the cargo ship containers. Cops could also win it by doing their thing and dumping the containers overboard. The bikes are either shitty slow bikes or the volt, there's no chopper or traditional motorcycle. The patrol bike is a scooter that sounds like a lawnmower...

Ive been playing as a cop for almost all of jb release and i can say with confidence that i make more cash as a criminal, if you play correctly and server hop into servers with big bounties you get a ton more cash than a crim. The main reason that i hate cop team is because of how easy it is for criminals to kill you compared to a cop arresting a criminal. And the fact that the criminals will always team up on a cop because its in there nature. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TOXIC! all they say after losing is camper or hacker. (they used to say tapper) this is almost 90% of the time false, because you just stumble upon them at one location. The criminals use toxicity to there advantage because when one criminal fights with a cop the other criminals will defend the criminal just because its in there nature which leads to so much unneeded toxicity.

Here is what I would do for bounty. Ever heard the phrase “Wanted:Dead or Alive”?, well that’s what this revamp is about. If you get a bounty and a cop kills you, he get 10% of your bounty and you lose 10%(kinda like road spikes). HOWEVER, if you are the top criminals (get sent to max prison) if you die, cop get your full bounty and you get sent to the max prison instead of criminal base. Criminals who choose to die in the robbery would keep bounty and not lose any. And one more… CAMPING COPS. No, camping cop issue shouldn’t be addressed. Sitting and waiting at a place is a real tactic and yea, it’s a dumb and lazy one but it’s very effective. This encourages the use of minimap. For people who keep complaining about camping cops, I have 2 things to point out: 1. Cops in real life use this tactic. This is how speeding tickets are usually given and how many robberies are busted. 2. It’s a game, get over it

so about paychecks, if the developers implement the system where if you arrest a criminal before they commit crime, you get a bigger paycheck. There are three problems with this 1: this would dramatically increase the number of campers at the prison making the game unplayable 2: this would make the games fan base split into two sides, the non campers and the campers (the camping team would have far more players 3: the game is delicate by this I mean the balance, currently we are seeing mass criminals and each time a robbery opens up within 2 seconds it has been purged, now if the developers did implement this feature we would see mass cops camping the prison and probably 1 or 2 prisoners

I already explained why criminals keeping bounties is a bad idea in response to your reddit post, but I'll say it here again: If you can just kill criminals without it affecting their bounty, it becomes extremely easy for cops to kill a criminal and target them once they spawn where they are more vulnerable as they do not yet have all their guns or their proper vehicle. Admittedly this is harder to do due to the new spawn system, as criminals can choose to spawn further away, but it isn't too hard to assume where the criminal would be given that one spawn puts them in the air with no access to weapons or vehicles immediately whatsoever, and they'll most likely spawn to either volcano or city base, whichever one is closer to them. Arresting is generally harder to do than killing people so you should be punished for not arresting criminals. I'd say have them lose a fraction of their bounty when they die, but nothing more. Some other things: -Cops should not be getting bonuses for arresting criminals that have not robbed many things, it should be the other way around. This encourages cops to target noobs and recently escape prisoners, which are easy targets, and incentivizes cops to do less work. It should be the other way around. -Your teamwork ideas are decent, although what the game defines as a cop putting in work for an arrest will probably not be implemented correctly. Cops already have an advantage in combat though, so any buffs for teamwork need to be carefully added and focus mainly on money, which your suggestions do. -If swat shield should be buffed, bullet shield should be nerfed, because swat shield demands a downside while using it with not nearly as much reward as the forcefield does while the ff does its job infinitely better AND heals you. I agree the riot shield should come with downsides while using it, more of an example how the devs think that needs to be balanced out by having downsides to it but not the forcefield. -I dont understand why cops should have increased access to niche items like dogs when criminals will still have to manually get donuts, soda, gliders, etc. I say keep those items where they are so they have purpose, these buildings shouldn't be obsolete because you can get them in the gunshop. And I dont think criminals getting bulldogs in crim bases balances it considering you're getting arrested more than being killed.

nerf cuffs a bit on range or smth, buff the bountys of each robbery and give cops more money per arrest like 500 or even 750.

Really good buffs for swat team I have in mind ( not all just some) Base arrest amount 400 -> 800 Get 50% more on all criminal bounty. Remove shield, but get a 15% protection if wearing the swat clothing/armor Regular police buffs: If the closest criminal to you dies you collect have their bounty and they keep the other half of the bounty. Pit maneuvers last much longer. I've got pitted and my tires came back in not even 2 seconds. Bounty is split 70/30 if cops are in crew. 70% to the cop that arrested the crim and the other 30 is distributed between the other crew members The bounty you get from a robbery is 4 40% of the income you get Ex: if you rob the j store for 5k the bounty you get is 2k

As smn who almost always plays in the criminal team, I would play the police team more often if your improve ideas would be added in the game.

My opinion about cop team being unfair 1.Too easy to play for criminal. The robberies are easy if u played them many times,also the prison is just easy to escape as there are so many exits.Also crimes can be cop and put a heli in yard then switch teams.The things they should do is add some npcs in prison and robberies,make less exits for prison and robberies,and let cops enter robberies,also despawn a vehicle if the owner switch teams. 2. Most servers has double amount of crims then cops.They should add a balance system which force someone to join cop team if the number of crims is more than the number of cops

I also got an idea for the cop team! The Dead or Alive System. This system is where if you catch a criminal, but if he gets killed, combat logs, by you or your team, you and your team get 80% of his bounty and if you have a team, you each share that bounty. In cases where the criminal leaves the game, the nearest cop or cops within a certain stud radius gets 90% of their bounty and if there are several cops within that certain stud limit, they each share that. However, if the criminal is caught alive, the cop or cops who arrested them get 100% of the bounty, and it’s shared if there’s if there’s a team. Appreciate your videos. I like where this video is coming from but there are many problems with the solutions that are being said such as it could be possible to farm a person with a bounty’s health and let it regenerate then shoot them again giving u a infinite amount of cash. There would also be people that as a cop would just snipe the criminals take whatever money and go.

There is a issue.If the prisoner enters the sewer and go to the end of it(exit near tunnel) cops cannot arrest them or kill them and they can just stay there until the cops left

While the criminal team definitely does pay so much more I find that the police team is a lot more enjoyable. There are lots of different skills from the other team and the cop team definitely has great advantages. I’m used to playing on the criminal team so it doesn’t seem as fun anymore.

I havent watched the video yet but if i can say one thing is that i dont think it suck’s gameplay wise, the reason most people complain is because sweatty crims gun spam which is indeed annoying especially if there toxic, the feeling of desperation to arrest them but you just cant lol. I wont say the dreded s.i word but you do need some skill to have fun.

I agree with all of them, but it would be very hard to change these things considering the game is built around these things.

The reason i lose my bounty the most is because i keep fazing through the ground and falling into the void.

Honestly when it comes to combat I think cops are fine, most people who complain about cops having range or if your a cop and u die all the time is just skill issue

Cops make less money, but have a major combative advantage. Spawn with pistol, Spawn with a 1 hit taser (which reloads even when unequiped), spawn with spamable handcuffs which are also 1 hit. Criminals have no team exclusive advantages, so in any sense it's the cop team that is the problem.

I feel like cops are at a disadvantage but also have an advantage at the same time. The prison should actually be a challenge to escape, but at the same time it can’t be made a challenge for criminals if cops can just arrest them 1 kilometer away. Nerf cuffs, nerf them. Make the prison harder to escape. Allow cops to get in the robberies while they are being robbed, similar to real life instead of letting them camp on the top of jewelry store for 15 minutes. Thats my opinion though.

I think a good way to handle money with cops could work the same way Dead by Daylight does bloodpoints. In the game, you get small increments of points for doing given tasks in the match like fixing a generator, escaping the killer, being the killer and using their power, stuff like that. I think that idea could work very well for cops, where they’re given, like, 500 bucks for a taze or 10 dollars for every point of damage they do, stuff like that.

im gonna be honest, your not that good of a cop, which is why i can give you tips! 1. when you parachute down shoot at the crims, since shooting deals damage and the lower the health-the slower they get 2. Dont run towards them with your handcuffs, try to tase them or shoot 3. Get atleas5 the pistol and shotgun, no need for other guns, but shootgun definintly 4. Use glitches like the j store clip with the heli 5. Bank bust (ofc) 6. Dont rush a team of crims (that even counts 2 ppl) 7. Helis and other flying vehicles are very bad for the cop team, the best cop car is roadster, so use that
