Same! I d wanna seem like a Debbie Downer.. you bet he hit every note.. I see them at this age and love the music and talent-however, that father of theirs... in a documentary, it’s shared just how hard that man was on those kids- drill sergeant style, making them rehearse to exhaustion- of course, without the amazing natural talent, it wouldn’t have mattered what Joe Jackson thought- Michael had it with or without him- it was said he was harshest on Michael too-

So this kid called Shaheen Jaffergholi (sp?) went on BGT or something and sang this song and it was like Michael all over again... Michael Jackson had seen the audition video and offered the kid a spot in his tour right before hes passed away. Shaheen sang at Michael's funeral, whether it was emotion or puberty, the performance wasn't fantastic. Apparently he's an actor on East Enders now...

Right???? It's been really interesting watching all these Britain's Got Talent X Factor type shows come out, and you see these little kids who were older than MJ was come out and some are good, but they look awkward, they oversing, they have no emotion, they have no stage presence. Then there's this 11 year old child like MJ just coming out his first ever TV performance completely live and it's THIS. This would be the defining career moment of most older musicians of this era. If Harry Styles ever had a performance like this he'd never work another day again. And then a decade later he did Thriller. Just insane!

No doubt this is definitely live! I am shocked that Michael was so calm and on perfect pitch. I am blown away by this live performance! Now I see why MJ had solo hits like Rockin' Robin (please hear the - 1972 Soul Purrfection Version - it's the best version for maximum enjoyment, guaranteed!) and the main title theme from the movie Ben while the Jackson 5 were still active as a family group. There were two camps on Saturday tv in the 70s. One cartoon was the Osmonds and the other was the Jackson 5. And the girls had wars. You were either an Osmond or a Jackson.

Loved the Jackson 5. Although I have to say I was more into Grand Funk at the time of this song, but Micheal's talent was just being born. R.I.P. Micheal, maybe people will leave you alone now.

How funny. I had several Jackson Five 45's and my first album that I bought on my own was Grand Funk. My crush though was Bobby Sherman, but that changed to Mark Farner. Guess that would be coming of age.

@@MsThebeMoon , Oh yes, Bobby Sherman, absolutely a teen heart throb, however Mark Farner posing naked in the gold album opened my eyes to a whole new "ahem" :)

I'm right there with y'all about Mark Farner. I was around 12 or 13 when I discovered Grand Funk. After that down came the Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman posters to be replaced with Mark Farner. He'll be 70-71 in September and I think he's still easy on the eyes. I'm 61. I loved seeing a shirtless Mark in concert strutting back and forth on the stage. Of course I'm there too about the Mark in the gold album. It was Hot!! I did like the Jackson 5 too. Had 45's of some of the hits.

With all the craziness of his later years, I forgot what an incredibly talented person he was, even at such a young age. His brothers were really only window dressing. Michael has all the talent.

Flip me sideways. The fantastic Jackson’s. of course baby Michael, was born to do this! But we tend to forget, just how good, they were as a group.

I loved the Jackson 5. Grew up with them and Michael Jackson's voice at this age was just superb. Happy, I Wanna Be Where You Are and Never Can Say Goodbye are great songs.

The greatest of all time...He was a genius , a creator, an artist...and sick US media killed Him. Con grat! What a loss...In his private life he was such a good hearted, very very smart man with a great sense of dark humor. Rest in peace King!

Michael Jackson was just the most amazing singer. I remember him as the littlest of the Jackson 5 and then when he went solo, beautiful.

How can anyone see this and not be completely blown away and have an experience they will never forget??? This isn't a cute kid with talent, this is actually someone who was born to share a gift from God that he knew as well...even as a young kid!!!
