The demo for this song was originally recorded with Freddie Mercury (Queen). Some talented soul remixed both version so all three are singing it. That is pure magic. Just search on KZfaq State of Shock Mick Jagger MJ and Freddie Mercury. Who ever uploaded it made a nice video for it too. Pure class.

It was originally supposed to be Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury their is even a demo with Freddie Mercury you can listen to on KZfaq.

Hell no. Mick Jagger's version was best. With Freddie there were just so many yellings it ruined the song and their voices dont match

@@Rivdboss that was a demo ....just getting the ideas together..the lyrics and arrangements weren’t even completed yet......it would have sounded different as they worked on it...,that’s why I said I wish he could have done the final version..... meaning I wish they could have worked together (they were friends)...I wasn’t saying the demo was better then Mick Jaggers version

Fun Facts: Not only was this song intended for Thriller (it's purpose was to be the rock 'n roll song, but Beat it... Beat it) It was also intended to be a duet between Michael and Freddy Mercury, but Mercury "ghosted" Michael because he couldn't stand how much he brought his Llama (named Louie) to the studio. Michael wanted as much Tatiana Thumbtzen as a girlfriend scarcely more than he wanted to contribute anything new for the Victory album if you can read between the lines...

This is a good, funky track. It's too bad that it didn't really come out in the "remix" era. A CD version of this-from multiple DJ's-would be a lot of fun.
