The James Webb Telescope's New Ultra Deep Image Reveals We May Have Messed Up Big Time

The James Webb Telescope has once again hinted at something that points towards a major flaw in our understanding of the Universe. Even though we have built our cosmological model based on observations and theories, and mathematics supporting those theories, there are a few clues that the Universe isn't completely adding up.
You may have heard about the "Crisis in Cosmology. Well, there's a new Crisis in town now, and it is called the S8 Tension.
To find out a solution, astronomers used one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, to carry out the largest ever cosmological simulations ever.
One cannot even fathom the scale of this project until you realize that the simulations required a total of more than 50 million hours of computer time, distributed over the 30,000 processors that make up the DiRAC COSMA-8 supercomputer at Durham University in the UK.
The project is called Flamingo, a convoluted acronym of Full-hydro Large-scale structure simulations with All-sky Mapping for the Interpretation of Next Generation Observations.

The problem with measuring time and distance using red shift is that we do not know the exact location in space time in our own universe. We measure red shift galaxies by using our position according to our idea of the observable universe. The actual universe may be so large that our observable universe may only be a fraction of the size of our universe.

Exactly, our observable universe may have low density spaces and then nothing or something we do not imagine in between, separated by infinite universes.
@andrepark3147

@@LavaDesert I absolutely agree with you. I believe that the universe does go on forever, but without the notion of parallel spaces. They say that if something is infinite, we can have infinite instances of possibilities of ourselves; which is also nonsense. I believe the universe is so large (not infinite) that we can have intelligent life dies and is recycled into another life infinitely throughout it's great expanse. That is what I believe.

Here’s a question for you to ponder. Can light interfere with light? Can the light we see from distant objects be interfered with by all the light heading towards it on its way to us? It’s an awfully long way for light to travel. Or maybe it’s gravity that interferes with it.

Dark matter always struck me as a made-up thing, allowing scientists to skip over the important bits. Kind of like, "I was going to get married 'yada, yada, yada' and now I'm single" Only with the Universe . . . there is all this space we don't understand, 'yada, yada, yada' and now the Universe is expanding faster than we expected. (Replace 'yada, yada, yada' with dark matter.)

One solution to the difference in early universe measurements vs late universe measurements of the Hubble constant and the discovery by the JWT of large galaxies in the very early universe is time. A fundamental assumption is that, while 3 of the dimensions of spacetime may bend and stretch the fourth, time, is rigid and has been elapsing at the same rate since the beginning. Is it possible that time and space are related in such a way that, as space expands, time elapses at a slower rate? Like the person in an elevator who cannot distinguish between sitting still on the ground and being accelerated at 1 g by a rocket ship in outer space, we cannot distinguish between space expanding and time elapsing at a slower rate. If at some point in the future it takes longer to go from point A to point B it could be because space has expanded or because time has slowed down, or both. If space was not expanding but time was elapsing more slowly over eons then a photon released billions of years ago and detected today would, like an audio recording played at a slower speed, seem to have a lower frequency, or be red shifted. This could affect late universe measurements of the Hubble constant because these are based on analyzing the red shift of photons released billions of years ago. Part of the red shift could be due to a reduction in the rate at which time is elapsing between when they were generated and the present and space might not be expanding as fast as thought. Also, when the universe was smaller, time could have been elapsing at a greater rate and the universe could actually be much, much older than 13.8 billion years. This would allow enough time for the formation of very large galaxies sooner than is thought possible. Now this is just a suggestion from a retired biologist. Don't expect me to do the math.

Why has 'Hubble' to be a constant? There are theories that the expansion rate increases. But I admit, with a 'Hubble constant' it is easier to calculate. At the end of your video, there is even some 'trumpet' showing that the expansion is not constant.

@@gottfriedheumesser1994 The dimensions of the Hubble constant are (km/s)/Mpc. That means the larger the distance between galaxies (/Mpc part) the faster they move away from each other. And as they move away from each other the distance grows and therefore the speed they move away from each other becomes larger and larger. This causes the expansion to become faster and faster even if Hubble's constant has a constant value. It might turn out that the value is not actually constant, whether in space or in time, and there are models for that and experiments designed to measure that, but the accelerating expansion of the universe itself is no reason to assume that.

@@gottfriedheumesser1994 Yes, but you also mentioned the 'trumpet' at the end of the video. The Big Bang is the greatest faux pas in the history of science. In a universe of gravitational fields, everything coalesces into a 'Great Body', and the galaxies all accelerate towards this Great Body. Look in the direction of the Great Body, and galaxies will be redshifted, and the redshift will be higher the closer they get to the Great Body. In other words, the more distant they are. The same thing will be seen if you look in the opposite direction. The redshift values for a given distance will be highest in these two directions. If you look at galaxies in a direction right, left, up or down from this line, galaxies at a similar distance from the observer as the ones on the line will have a lower redshift, due to the fact that they are not as strongly influenced by the gravity of the Great Body, as they are farther away from it. That which we call 'the universe' is actually a finite system, and just as there are billions of galaxies that make up this 'finite universe', there are probably billions of such finite universes. The question then arises as to what exists between these finite universes. It can only be a hydrogen field, since galaxies cannot condense out of nothingness. Therefore, the CMBR is the temperature of the hydrogen field, and the inhomogeneities detected within it are simply density fluctuations. And, the very high quasar redshifts are mainly due to light being 'stretched' by the immensely strong gravity of these objects, with a minor component caused by recessional velocity. We don't know anything about gravity beyond the event horizon, and Einstein, himself, said that relativity theory breaks down beyond the event horizon.

If the universe were inherently infinite with infinite mass, then inert mas prevents the collapse. Local changes are equivalent to zero change from an infinite perspective. You can subtract the entire visible universe, even as far as JWST can see, from an infinite universe and the mass in it, the answer is that the infinite universe did not change at all. So, the cosmological red shift is not caused by expanding space.

Pretty sure when the 1D, 2D, 3D body dies that stays here but the zero-of yourself just goes back to the other side of zero. Zero is both a real and an imaginary number with a horizon through it.
