In August 2023, we spent two weeks traveling the Golden Route in Japan. We flew into Tokyo and spent time in Mishima, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Miyajima. Then we completed our Every Disney Park bucket list at Tokyo Disneyland before ending the trip with a few more days in Tokyo. We traveled around the country by train, taking advantage of the high-speed Shinkansen and using Japan's ubiquitous luggage forwarding services to make our travels easier. Thanks for watching!

That's a great video. I'm interested in what kind of places foreign tourists visit and what they find appealing about Japan. There were some places I didn't know about, even though I live in Japan. The spring cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons offer unique, genuinely beautiful experiences. Please come and experience these seasons in Japan again.

How much did you spend on your whole Japan vacation? I intend to go there in the spring. and You waived your vacation to create a vlog that explored the awe-inspiring beauty of Japan. Because of that, I also intend to travel to Japan soon.

Thank you for coming to Japan! It was great to see your family enjoying some of the popular tourist destinations. The video also showed a signboard with the rules of Golden-Gai written on it. I appreciate your kindness.

I loved watching your videos and it gave me so many ideas for a future trip! I was wondering if you had any recommendations for planning a long trip like this. Maybe websites or apps you used to plan. Also, is planning Tokyo Disney similar to Florida? I noticed you had to get a pass for beauty and the beast? Any tips would be so helpful. Thank you again for sharing your experience for future travelers❤

I feel the same about Harajuku… 😢 Back in the 2000s even there were a lot of awesome things to see and cosplayers and stuff. The new age is nice too but no longer Takeshita-doors but more in the backroads and alleys all the way to Omotesando.

What a great video! After you mentioned your goal of visiting all the Disney Parks, I Googled it - I didn't realize there were so many! My family has a goal of hitting up all the American and Canadian National Parks (that should keep us busy) and I think having a goal like that really adds to the fun :) Looking forward to your next video; I always get some cool ideas.
@CarrieCook

Ahh, thanks very much! Visiting all the parks will certainly keep you busy. I'm reading one woman's account of visiting all of the Canadian parks - some of them are quite remote and make for some adventurous travel! Good luck with it.

Tonkatsu is one genre of food that’s not very well known as it’s not the healthiest looking thing for a Japanese food but it’s cheap and good. Wako is the biggest chain and you can find it in malls and even airports.

Hello. I really loved your videos of Japan and have taken many notes from your trip! Can I please ask which hotel room you booked at the Hilton Tokyo Bay? We need the same amount of beds as travelling with older children and I couldn't really see the bed configuration on the website. Thank you in advance!
@CarrieCook
@CarrieCook 3 ай бұрын
Hello and thank you! The room that we booked is the King Celebrio Ocean, which sleeps up to 4. You can ask the hotel to configure the beds however you wish - the room is pretty spacious. In our case, we had a king and 2 twins. Hope that helps!

Hello! Sorry for the sudden message, my name is Kim. I'm not good at anything except Japanese, so I use Google Translate. I'm sorry if you can't understand me. The reason I sent this message is because I had a question I wanted to ask you. My question is about videotaping and other services when traveling to Japan. First, I would make a travel plan with a traveler coming to Japan in advance via message, meet him/her at the airport or other places, and accompany him/her for sightseeing with a camera. Then, I would like to start a business to videotape or photograph the trip and sell the edited video. Rates start at $333 per night and are negotiable if the trip is longer or takes longer to film. I am also available to assist you with your trip and answer any questions you may have while sightseeing. We will be using an earphone interpreter for interpretation. If so, do you find this service attractive? Would you use it or recommend it to family members? Do you think the fee is expensive? Thank you for reading to the end.
