Rickson through his philosophy and spiritual practices make him a legend. It’s not just Jiu Jitsu. He bailed me out of some dark times of my life.

I just want to say rickson is one of the greatest martial artist of our time a master in every sense of the word what blew me away was his speaking on his father his words on. Confidence peace of mind the universal way of love listening to him I felt I was listening to a shaman a mystic holy man his very words put me at ease this man is good heart and soul peace be with you rickson

What an amazing wisdom! Such depth... the only time I heard this level of wisdom, was when a Capoeira Master was talking about Malicia... No other martial art I ever practiced other than Capoeira, has ever been so open, spiritual, filosophical and therefore so much more than just a martial art! Love, respect and gratitude! Obrigado!

Absolutely fantastic ... the wonderful and truly inspiring Jean Jacques and Rickson in an illuminating chat - and we are all invited into the conversation. Conversations like this makes me long for the invention of a time machine ... to go back and have my time again in the late 80's - I would make a few different decisions. I din't realise at the time, how lucky I was - how truly privileged I was to spend time on the mat with Jean Jacques ....

Great interview and Great people talking about their experiences and mindset and the kind of mindset, Rickson is talking about, which he understood at a young age and made him a great warrior that I am just beginning to understand now in the later part of my life.

yes rickson is hands down the best guy to do jiu jitsu so far. I want to learn invisible jiu jitsu. Henry Akins I'd love to learn from him also. He teaches how rickson fought, thats what i want to learn.

I’ve continually tried to get as close to the source as possible. I trained under Pedro sauers (Rickson friend and student in Brazil) student Greg Nelson starting in 2006. I would have loved to be closer to these guys but I live in northern Wisconsin so my options are limited. There’s a Pedro Sauer school I used to train at but I switched to a different one closer to my house

Around 18-20 minutes Rickson is talking about an instructor and some type of breathing and mushin (no mind), can someone tell me who he is talking about and what he’s taking about? Tai Chi or what? I’d appreciate the help.
