Hazard assessments, in particular the job hazard assessment are the foundation for any effective and robust health and safety program! In this hazard assessment training video I explain one of the foundations of occupational health and safety, the job hazard assessment (JHA). There are two parts, in this part, part 1, I review the principles, theory and process behind the job hazard assessment and who should participate. Occupational health and safety training should include this essential step prior to any work being done.

The job hazard assessment or JHA has to be an essential part of a health and safety rpgram in order for it to be successful. The JHA also needs to be a mandatory part of any new hire orientation.

Hi Eugene!! Glad you are finding the videos useful. As far as terminology goes, it's a struggle, even here in Canada! Terms differ between industry sectors, certifying bodies, cities, even provinces! However, you are absolutely right, if you look past what's in a word to the concepts there is a lot of alignment. Cheers! --Kevin

I Learn to make a job hazzard analysis . Is to identify all the incounter hazzard in our workplace. And i trust to my self to see my determination for being a safety Officer.
