Silke originally signed up for 3 months to work on the Africa Mercy in Madagascar -- and that was in 2014. 2005 is about when MS changed. From a gospel outreach with medical missions to a medical outreach with little or no evangelism outreach.

Currently that is not a specific role they have in the Academy but many of our teachers come with specific expertise like you and still manage to put it to good use within their regular teaching role.

Oh i love the work at Mercyship. I'm an engineer looking forward to volunteering at Mercyship. I wish to know if there's like a means provided in the ship for staff to take care of themselves while on board.

Hi and thanks for your comment! I hope to see you onboard someday as an engineer! When it comes to your question would you kind elaborating a bit more what you mean? Your crew fees will definitely cover all the basic facilities you need -cabin, food, laundry, electricity, etc.

I loved my work back on the Caribbean Mercy. With that it was a major disappointment that to my understanding Mercy Ships did away with The Evangelism teams. That Actively intentionally Sharing about The Lord Jesus Christ.
