There is a HUGE double standard when it comes to men and women talking about sexual abuse. Men get laughed at and told that they're lucky that they were touched inappropriately at a young age. When women speak up about their sexual abuse, They're automatically consoled and everyone believed by everyone smh. Not saying to not believe women, but we have to stop looking past men being abused

That’s crazy... i relate to joe.. I won the spelling bee for my school in Chicago. I was set to represent our school at the district spelling bee. They gave us a list of words to study. I studied with my sister for a week. When. It came time to go the spelling bee, my mom didn’t take me “because she didn’t feel like.” It crushed me, it killed our relationship. To this day, we don’t talk. Not over the spelling bee, but it’s just an example of how much she didn’t give a fuck.

None of those songs were “pop”.....Mal, Rory and Parks, non-definitive, scared to have a real opinion outside of mass acceptance; can be angering at times.
