Once you come out, that should be it and whoever doesn’t like it can kiss his ass. Kev was supporting Lil Nas but I can see how people can take 10 seconds from a video and form a whole opinion based around that. If you watch the full vid, you know Kev didn’t mean any disrespect. Quite the opposite. I guess Kev felt the interviewer was trying to get Lil Nas to defend his homosexuality while Kev felt he shouldn’t have to. That’s all

Kev didn’t say Lil Nas had a problem coming out. He’s saying he has the right to and shouldn’t have to defend his sexuality to interviewers after coming out. You should watch the rest of the episode and not that clip because you’re mentioning things Kev already addressed further on in the episode

I wasn’t offended by Joe saying you’re not serious if you don’t quit your job. I understand what he really meant, but I can understand why other creators might’ve been offended. I went down to part-time at my job to have more time to focus on my crafts/passions. It was a tough decision cause not only was it a pay cut but I lost all my benefits. But it’s true that being a creator is very time consuming & requires a lot of your energy. When I was full time I would be too drained to really put in the work towards my crafts. You gotta make sacrifices.
