The mist that came over us while watching the city lights and the stars above the Rocky Mountains was calm, yet powerful. The headlights of cars passing by carved through the spaces between the trees. As the fog dispersed again, it laid itself down onto the mountain like a blanket. The air was chilling, the rocks we sat on were freezing. It was a view very different from those I enjoyed in Hong Kong, but I'm grateful to be in the fresh cold. The air really filled up my lungs.
