Both Husqvarna and Husaberg were founded in Sweden. They made Husqvarna in Odeshog, Sweden, until late 1987, before moving to Italy and Cagiva, who bought the iconic company. The last motorcycle made at Odeshog, was a TE 510, driven from the production line and out of the factory by enduro legend and factory rider SvenErik Jonsson. Husaberg was bought by KTM in 1995. As from 2014, both Husqvarna and Husaberg are owned by KTM. An era of Swedish made motorcycles gone forever. I remember I bought a 1994 FE 501 Husaberg back in December 1993, and picked it up at the factory in Rofors. Cheers from Norway
