Let's talk for real and not as fans for a second... most teams in the 90s were actively doing doping, including Juve. It's not a theory, it's a fact. There has been multiple trials for it and evidence was found that the medical department of Juve at the time was using illegal methods to boost player's performances (look up Dr.Agricola's trial for usage of illegal drugs at Juve, proven guilty). The only reason nothing followed suit is because by italian law this the case fell into prescription which saved Juve. Now obviously as I said, Juve were far from being the only ones doing this and were made into the black sheeps because they were winning a lot in that era compared to everyone else but claiming it never happened or playing the victim card saying it was all bs won't make reality magically go away. Last point : Pintus and Ventrone were only physical prep coaches and they had nothing to do with medical team's illegal activities. If people have accused them it was by pure idiocy and lack of knowledge of who did what.

@@l9ino170 exactly, korea definitely got some iffy calls but the fact that if you actually watch the game their running game was literally unmatched. Portugal could not keep up, Italy got pissy because they like low intensity passing games, and spain got pretty unlucky but you can't exactly fix penalties now can you. End of the day we all got the final we deserved, Brazil vs Germany.

You cannot have a team of 11 Messi, Pirlo, Dinho or Iniesta. That being said, you are walking a very thin line and you need to know. There are limits. Pepe, Keane, Ramos, Montero were too extreme. Chiellini, Gentile, are good examples of dirty tactics built on physical superiority and "psychology warfare". Ibra too on the offense.
