Two sermons I've heard lately he has mentioned snakes in it😮, I don't like snakes, now I'm hesitant to hear him anymore 😢

Greg Laurie is an amazing pastor, he tells stories and not just about snakes. He is a man on fire for Christ and you will benefit from listening to him. I do not like snakes or rats, but I go beyond that. Listen to his other messages, You will get a lot out of them.

Question regarding the Worship Team. Would you consider today’s worship set more “leading worship”? Or more “performance”? Is it more “congregational worship” or more “entertainment”? I ask this, because, personally, I was distracted away from worshiping by the (in my opinion) over-stylized vocals, and what seems to me, too much emphasis on stage performance. Primarily between the two ladies. Not sure what is going on, but I’m praying that this worship team can get things back under control.

I've been working on my Mom and my oldest and dearest friend for quite some time now. Mom has an atheist husband, so it's hard to get through to her. My friend says he's a Christian, but he won't go to church with me and he lives his life to party party party. It's a somewhat slow process, but I will bring them to Jesus Christ if it's the last thing I do.

another note, trust the Lord to guide you on this. Reason I say this is my daughter was a Christian and she walked away from the Lord after my mom passed in 2020, and she was angry about that and angry with God. It was some time later she rededicated her life to the Lord and now she is on fire for him. The Lord will work and trust him on that and let the holy spirit guide you.

@@GenesisLove07 Yes, I've pushed too hard before and it turned the person not only against me, but against God. It's a delicate process. Baby steps work much better. Along with trying to lead by example. We're all sinners, just some worse than others.
