The Joy of Six 2022 Show Highlights

An annual show dedicated to 6mm wargaming The Joy of Six is the most 'local' show to me, being only 10 minutes away but until now one I had sadly never attended. Once again this video is in the format of various highlights and clips taken through the day that you can watch at your own pace without commentary.
A fantastic day that really does highlight how epic 6mm wargaming is with a huge variety of games on offer as participation of demonstrations. While it may not be the biggest show there was a lively atmosphere and a very friendly feel to the whole event.

The final and longest chapter is for me the show highlight, the fantastic Battle of Imjin River game by Charles Rowntree, sadly I'd only got a quick glance of this at Partizan but at a smaller show I got chance to get a much more detailed look and see some of the gameplay of the Glorious stand of the Gloucester Regiment on Hill 235 and the amazing work done by Charles was offering a participation game based on a adaption of the All Hell Let Loose rules.

Thanks for posting this. This is by far the best of many videos reports of the show. To be fair all the reports are great and really appreciated by me but somehow you have managed to show so much more detail and depth in the exhibits you feature. Other videos left me asking questions and yours has gone a long way the answering those questions. Once again thanks.

There were a lot of amazing looking games but that Imjin game and the Cold War game really knock my socks off. The terrain is incredible in both of them.

They were two very impressive looking games and have really tempted my to get into some more modern combat at 6mm.

Thanks Phil, the Lund battle had some amazing miniatures and the snow really set it off, you can see it in the video but the Sudan battle had some fantastic costumes from the team putting it on!

Some fantastic games - thank you taking the time to put this together. I'm really interested in the Horsell Common game in particular and wondered if anyone knows what rules were being used.

Really worth the visit, something completely different and being smaller its easier to get around everything chat and join in wherever you like.
